The current inventive fitting methodology is preferred to the archaic fitting method of using data gathered from the result orientated ball flight data together with a tedious process of having to try numerous different shafts.

I have invented a tool to enable a golfer to determine his/her TrueAim to the hole when putting. The premise of the invention is that no two sets of eyes see or aim in exactly the same fashion and the device allows the individual golfer to establish and practice his/her TrueAim. The device is designed for a person to practice with and to train the individual to determine the aim of a putt, and then enable the individual to properly align based on that aim determination. Unique features of the device allow the golfer to align to a point within the cup just a few inches in front of the ball, and allows the golfer to align the putter to that spot and thereby align to what the golfer believes is the TrueAim of the putt. After putting the ball from the spot on the tongue of the device, and over the alignment arrow and dot in the round (see D and E in FIG. 2 ) the golfer is able to see the results of his/her TrueAim thereby allowing the golfer to adjust and gauge his/her TrueAim through future trials and adjustments. Through practice, this device allows the golfer to gain confidence in his/her ability to determine each individual's TrueAim when putting and thereby give each person the opportunity to make more putts.

A method for analyzing sensor data from baseball swings (or swings in similar sports) that transforms data into a reference frame defined by the bat orientation and velocity at impact. The swing plane defined by these two axes provides a natural and robust reference frame for physically relevant measurements of swing characteristics. Illustrative swing metrics derived from swing plane reference frame data include: swing speed, defined as a rotational rate within the swing plane; total swing angle, defined as the angular change within the swing plane; and swing tempo, defined as the percentage of peak swing speed achieved halfway through the swing. A method comprising:receiving, from an athletic activity monitoring system, athletic activity data recorded during an athletic activity performed by a first user, the athletic activity data including route information;generating an athletic activity entry associated with the athletic activity on a network page of a social networking site, wherein the athletic activity entry and the network page is viewable by a second user; andgenerating, within the athletic activity entry, a map indicating a route of the first user based on the route information, wherein a performance of the first user during the athletic activity is identified in the map, and wherein the route information is downloadable to the second user and is configured to specify a workout route for the second user.2. A golf club having improved visual feature recognition includes a golf club head coupled to a golf club shaft. The golf club head includes a hosel defining a bore, a sole, and a design attribute that is generally not capable of easy visual discernment. The bore has a first portion having a first diameter, a second portion having a second diameter that is smaller than the first diameter, and a transition from the first diameter to the second diameter. The bore extends through the golf club head to the sole, and the golf club shaft is disposed within the first portion of the bore and secured to the hosel. A polymeric plug is disposed within the bore between the golf club shaft and the sole. The polymeric plug includes a restraining feature that contacts the transition to prevent withdrawal of the polymeric plug through the sole, and is a color that corresponds to the design attribute.

The base provides a support to which cover panels can be removably affixed. The base and the cover panels each have on their top surfaces a series of position markers in the nature of slots formed in various geometric shapes. Each base and cover panel has a subset of retrieval objects matched in shape and/or color to its respective position markers. A method is provided for playing different versions of retrieval games using the base and the cover panels.
