A fluid substance dispensing device includes an external container with a containment element formed of a deformable part and an essentially rigid neck featuring a first flange which abuts with a free end of the external container at one of the mouth thereof, an intermediate element with a cup-shaped part inserted into the neck and fastened to the external container so that the first flange is sandwiched between the free end and the intermediate element, the cup-shaped part including an opening in communication with an internal part of the deformable part, there being—inside the cup-shaped part—a valve element configured for displacement by the body of an airless pump so that, when the body of the pump is absent or in an unused position, the valve element is stably closed, while when the pump body is pushed into a use position, the valve element is stably open.

Dispenser with Variable-Volume Storage Chamber, One-Way Valve, and Manually-Depressible Actuator

A dispenser has a housing, and a variable-volume storage chamber formed within the housing and defining a substantially fluid-tight seal between the chamber and exterior of the housing for storing a substance to be dispensed. A piston is mounted within the housing, and a one-way valve is mounted within the housing and coupled in fluid communication with the variable-volume storage chamber. A compression chamber is coupled in fluid communication between the piston and one-way valve, and at least one of the piston and valve is manually depressible relative to the other between (i) a first position in which the piston is located at least partially outside of the compression chamber for permitting substance to flow from the variable-volume storage chamber into the compression chamber, and (ii) a second position in which the piston is located at least partially within the compression chamber for pressurizing substance within the compression chamber above a valve opening pressure and, in turn, dispensing substance through the one-way valve and out of the dispenser.

Pump dispensers

A pump dispenser in which the associated container interior reduces its volume progressively as product is dispensed to avoid air contact with the product. An air trap member having a downwardly-convex dish form is provided below a floor of the associated dispenser module around an inlet to guide any such air away from the inlet. A peripheral portion forms a retaining lip for flexible wiping contact with the container wall interior, allowing air passage on assembly of the dispenser. A central tubular formation of the trap member separates the trapped air from the inlet and can be used to plug the trap member into the inlet.

Pull actuated foam pump

A foam dispenser having an actuator and a dispenser housing. The actuator releasably mates with a pomp of a refill unit and is moveable from a first position to a second position. Wherein the second position is further from the refill unit than the first position. Movement of the actuator from the first position to the second position causes the foam dispenser to dispense foam when a refill unit is inserted in the foam dispenser.

Spraying device with automatically actuated shutter

A spraying device for spraying messenger, insecticide, fragrance, body care, hygienic liquids or the like, comprises a liquid container ( 10 ), an actuating member ( 20 ) which actuates a pump mechanism ( 30 ) to order to feed a liquid from the liquid container to a spraying aperture ( 40 ), wherein the spraying aperture is formed in the actuating member, and a cover member ( 50 ) capable of covering the spraying aperture. Said cover member ( 50 ) is operationally connected to the actuating member ( 20 ) such that, upon actuation of said actuating member, the cover member ( 50 ) is translatorially displacable from its position covering the spraying aperture ( 40 ) before the pump mechanism ( 30 ) is actuated.

Low Cost Trigger Sprayer

A trigger sprayer has a housing, a piston bore within the housing, and a piston reciprocally mounted with the piston bore. The housing further includes a flow passage through which liquid passes from a passage inlet to a passage outlet. An actuator is operable to reciprocate the piston within the piston bore between a vacuum stroke creating reduced pressure in the piston bore and a compression stroke creating increased pressure in the piston bore. A valve unit within the flow passage controls the flow of liquid through the flow passage upon operation of the actuator. The valve unit further comprises a check valve and priming valve. The check valve is shaped in a frusto-conical manner and is assembled into the check valve seat which is not part of the housing but is a separate component. The sprayer has a free spinning threaded type closure for mounting the sprayer to a container, the closure formed separately from and secured to said housing.

Multi-position valve assemblies

A multi-position valve assembly includes a valve body member at least partially defining a body chamber and a body orifice providing an inlet for ingress of a product into the body chamber. A stem member includes a plug portion at least partially located in the body chamber and a stem portion extending vertically from the plug portion beyond a top of the body chamber. The stem member includes a stem outlet capable of communication with the body chamber via a stem orifice. A first biasing member biases the stem member toward a closed position. A second biasing member biases the stem member toward the closed position only after the stem member is moved a clearance gap to a first open position.

Unit for dispensing a fluid product and device for distributing a fluid product comprising such a unit

A fluid dispenser member having a body and manually-actuated dispenser mechanism movable in the body between rest and dispensing positions. The dispenser mechanism urged by a resilient member towards the rest position by a plurality of spring cells arranged in parallel around a longitudinal axis of the resilient member, forming a spring stage. The resilient member includes a plurality of spring stages that are superposed along the longitudinal axis. A spring stage has a top undulating ring having multiple undulations, and a bottom undulating ring having multiple undulations, the top and bottom undulations arranged relative to each other so that the top and bottom undulating rings are in contact at a plurality of contact points distributed around the longitudinal axis. A spring cell is defined between two adjacent contact points of the spring stage, the resilient member is made of a synthetic material.

Efoam pump with spring isolated from flow path

A foam pump has a spring isolated from a flow path. Due to the arrangement of inner tube and outer tube of the pressing head and a spring installed between the inner tube and the outer tube, in the suction process, the liquid (or emulation) in the bottle flows through the inner channel of the inner tube and thus it does not contact with the outer tube so that the foams will not be polluted by the material spring. The spring is isolated with the foaming flow path so that it does not resist the flow of the foams; the liquid (or emulsion) does not contact the foams so that the foams are not polluted and thus the liquid in a bottle is retained purely; the liquid is not chemically reacted with the material of the spring and thus no harmful object generates.

Dispensers

A pump dispenser is intended for oral administration of medicines. A pump receives fluid product through a valved inlet from a container, preferably of the airless type with a follower piston. The dispenser may be a movable-nozzle or fixed-nozzle dispenser. The discharge outlet of the dispenser has a stub nozzle incorporating a closure valve. A spring urges the closure valve forward to close a discharge opening of the stub nozzle. The nozzle attachment is shaped for oral dosing and has an internal rearwardly-projecting actuating structure which, when the nozzle attachment is coupled onto the stub nozzle, pushes the closure valve open. When the nozzle attachment is removed the spring closes the outlet again. Child-resistant features are described for fitting the nozzle attachment to the stub nozzle.

Metering device

The invention relates to a metering device for metered dispensing of a fluid, in which a storage container is connected to a metering head, a spindle being guided in the metering head and having a through-channel for the fluid to be transported.

Dispenser

The invention relates to a dispenser ( 1 ) for liquid to pasty substances, having a pumping chamber ( 9 ) and a dispensing tube ( 6 ), the dispensing tube ( 6 ) being moved between a rest position and a dispensing position during a pumping movement (P), and in the rest position a dispensing opening ( 5 ) of the dispensing tube ( 6 ) being covered by a covering part ( 21 ) connected to the dispenser ( 1 ). In order to form a dispenser of this type which can be easily actuated in an advantageous manner, it is proposed that, in the course of actuating the pump, at least part of the dispensing tube ( 6 ) is moved in a direction perpendicular to the pumping movement (P) while traversing the path of movement of the covering part ( 21 ), which at the same time is moved relative to the dispensing tube ( 6 ). In a further independent solution, it is provided that the covering part ( 21 ) is inwardly offset with respect to a dispenser wall part ( 7 ), that a window-like opening ( 8 ) associated with the covering part ( 21 ) is formed in the dispenser wall part ( 7 ), that in the rest position the covering part ( 21 ) is aligned with the opening ( 8 ), and that in the dispensing position the covering part ( 21 ) at least partially uncovers the opening ( 8 ) and at least part of the dispensing tube ( 6 ) is exposed in the opening ( 8 ) in order to discharge substance through the opening ( 8 ).

Liquid dispenser containers

According to certain embodiments of the invention, a dispensing device may include a pump system having a large, angled spout allowing the downward dispensing of a product into a wash basin or other delivery area. The dispensing device may also include a bottle or container handle having an angle on an interior of the bottle or container such that a dip tube used with the pump system may be forced into a particular portion or location within the bottle or container. The dispensing device may also include a wide, ergonomic actuator which may be actuated by the palm of a hand or a thumb as a user grips a bottle or container to which a pump system is attached and to which the actuator is in communication for actuating the pump system.

Micro pump vessel

A micro pump vessel has an outer vessel on one side of which a button is formed and an outer vessel lid which is hinge-coupled to one side of the outer vessel to be opened and closed. In the vessel, a first and a second pistons are installed on an upper surface of cosmetic contents, and thus, when the cosmetic contents are pumped and used by the operation of a micro pump, the first and the second pistons lower to exhaust all the cosmetic contents so as not to discard the remaining cosmetic contents.

Apparatus and method for dispensing a fluid

A fluid transfer assembly comprises a housing for accommodating a fluid. A bellows member disposed in the housing defines an opening therethrough adapted to be in fluid communication with an applicator assembly. The bellows member is adapted to operatively engage the applicator assembly for extension in a first direction and contraction in a second direction. The bellows member seals against the inner surface of the housing during extension and contraction for defining a variable volume chamber with the housing. Expansion of the bellows member in the first direction reduces the chamber volume for generating positive pressure in the housing and forcing fluid through a valve to the applicator assembly. Contraction of the bellows member in the second direction increases the chamber volume for generating negative pressure within the housing for drawing fluid into the chamber.

Lotion pump

A lotion pump includes a movable portion and a stationary portion. A shifting mechanism is formed on the movable portion and the stationary portion, which shifts the elastic restoring mechanism of the lotion pump between a standby state and a non-standby state as the movable portion rotates or moves up and down. The structure of the lotion pump can prevent the spring from yielding due to compressed for a long time, while can also realize a form of locking at lower position.

Dispenser with Complete Dispensing and Closure

A dispenser has a housing with a stem extending through the housing. The stem is attached to a head which rotates therewith. When the stem/head combination are rotated axially into, are in some positions, blocking flanges block portals into the stem. In other axially rotated positions, portals into the stem are unblocked by the portals. The portals are at a side of the stem adjacent to the bottom in embodiments of the disclosed technology. Further, a bottom region of the internal space can be conical to direct the material towards the portals, the bottom side of the stem being surrounded by the adjacent conical space such that it fits snugly there-with in embodiments of the disclosed technology.

Sprayer with a six-hole spray pattern

The present invention is an improved nozzle for spraying viscous substances which includes the following key elements: (1) the nozzle includes a round hole at the nozzle middle-center location; and (2) the center round hole is surrounded by five circumferential modified trapezoid shaped hole openings, with each of the modified trapezoid shaped hole openings having a pair of divergent sidewalls with an arcuate top wall and a smaller acuate bottom wall and set at a distance separated from each other at seventy-two degrees in a circle around the center opening. The distance from the center of each circumferential opening to the middle center opening is also the same. The present invention will enable the spraying of heavy viscous substances and gels.

Leaktight non-return valve

Some embodiments are directed to a valve made up of a rigid wall and a flap. The flap has a non-perforated flexible and deformable peripheral region situated facing the rigid wall. The rigid wall is perforated by at least one orifice situated facing the peripheral region. The flap is joined to the rigid wall by a non-deformable fixed connection. The peripheral region has a substantially conical shape before mounting with a large base and a small base and an inner face on the inner side of the cone. The peripheral region exhibits a deformation following the pressing of the inner face of the large base against the rigid wall in a assembled position.

Pump with a spring and valve combination

A fluid pump includes a pump body having a pump inlet and a pump outlet, and a spring valve combination provided within the pump body. The spring valve combination includes a spring body having a first end portion, a second end portion and a spring section therebetween, which spring section is compressible in an axial direction from an initial condition to a compressed condition and is subsequently expandable to its initial condition; a first valve element provided at the first end portion of the spring body; and a second valve element provided at the second end portion of the spring body, wherein the spring body and the first and second valve elements are integrally formed. The first and second valve elements interact with an interior of the pump body to define a one-way inlet valve and a one-way outlet valve, respectively.

Compression Spring and Pump for Dispensing Fluid

Springs having various configurations include upper and lower connecting members and spring elements extending therebetween. The configurations of the springs may enable them to be formed of polymeric material such as by injection molding. Pumps for pumping fluid or adapted for other uses may include such springs and may include interfacing arrangements with the springs.

Rotary dispenser-type cosmetics container

The present invention relates to a rotary dispenser-type cosmetics container in which, when a button part rotates, guide protrusions move along a bottom surface of a pumping guide formed on an inner peripheral surface of the button part and then an ascending and descending member ascends and descends, whereby a pumping action is conducted. Therefore, the container of the present invention discharges contents in a fixed state in which the height of the button part is not changed, and is thereby capable of preventing contents from unnecessarily leaking due to pressing a button by means of an external pressure.

Dispensers

The invention relates to dispensers for fluid products, particularly oral dosing of medicines. The dispenser is a pump dispenser and has a separate nozzle attachment. The nozzle and dispenser may be uncoupled in a holding position or coupled position. A child resistance feature is disclosed which prevents unauthorised coupling of the dispenser and nozzle, thereby preventing unauthorised dispensing of product. The child resistance feature only allows coupling of the dispenser and nozzle when a coupling control element is triggered and then maintains this coupling with additional features. A protective cover for the dispenser is also disclosed, which covers the nozzle attachment and pump plunger button.

Pumping device for a fluid container

A novel pumping device ( 1 ) with an actuator ( 4 ) and a head part ( 5 ) for dispensing a fluid from a container ( 2 ) is described. The actuator ( 4 ) comprises an outlet conduit ( 37 ) and a first cylindrical member ( 18 ) and the head part ( 5 ) comprises a second cylindrical member ( 20 ) which is arranged coaxially to the first cylindrical member. A folded membrane member ( 22 ) with an inlet valve ( 24 ) and an outlet valve ( 25 ) is provided between the first ( 18 ) and second ( 20 ) cylindrical members, such that the first ( 18 ) and second ( 20 ) cylindrical members and the folded membrane member ( 22 ) provide a variable pump chamber ( 27 ). The outlet valve ( 25 ) is arranged relative to the actuator ( 4 ) in such a manner that a suck-back chamber ( 38 ) with a variable volume is provided between the outlet valve ( 25 ) and the outlet conduit ( 37 ), which is simultaneously reduced as the pumping chamber ( 27 ) is reduced.

Pump container for discharging capsules

The present invention disclosed herein relates to a pump container for discharging capsules, in which an opening/closing plate of a valve member is coupled to the inner peripheral surface of a valve body through a rotary support to rotate up and down so as to open/close a content inflow hole and the upper end of a content movement tube, such that encapsulated granule contents can be discharged, without rupturing, during a pumping operation of a pumping member.

Metering dispenser for discharging an in particular pasty or viscous material, such as cosmetic cream, adhesive, and the like

A dosing dispenser for putting out in particular pasty or viscous material like e.g. a cosmetic creams, glue and similar, comprising a container including the material which container is received in a dispenser housing, a pump unit arranged in front of the container and in particular an applicator applied at the pump unit for dosed material output, wherein the dispenser housing includes an actuation member which facilitates moving the container that is moveably arranged in the dispenser housing relative to the pump unit, so that the pump unit is activatable by the container for suctioning and dispensing the material, characterized in that the actuation member is formed by an opening in the dispenser housing which facilitates an in particular manual access to the container supported in the dispenser housing in order to move the container in a linear manner or that an actuation member configured as a slider element is inserted into an opening of the dispenser housing, wherein the slider element is translatorically moveable in the opening and coupled with the container, so that the container is moveable back and forth caused by the sliding movement of the slider element in order to activate the pump unit.

Spraying apparatus

Disclosed is a spraying apparatus. The disclosed spraying apparatus includes a housing having a flow path from an inlet to an outlet, through which content passes, a pump provided in the housing and configured to extract content from a container for replenishment or discharging the content, a valve provided in the flow path and configured to selectively shield the flow path, in conjunction with movement of the pump, and an inverted extractor provided in the flow path and configured to extract the content from the container, in conjunction with movement of the pump in an inverted state.

Hand Sanitizer Dispenser for Vehicles

The present invention relates to an ornamental tactile sanitizer dispenser device for vehicles. The dispenser device functions to tactilely dispense sanitizer for a user and as an ornamental prayer device. The device can be mounted to a dashboard of the vehicle such that the sanitizer device remains within an arm's reach of the driver, thereby enabling the driver to tactilely obtain sanitizer using one hand while controlling the vehicle using the other hand. The device in one embodiment has a pair of bobblehead prayer hands and in another embodiment has a pair of thumbs up hand design. The device comes in a first variant where a nozzle is manually depressed to obtain sanitizer, and a second variant that includes a proximity sensor to automatically depress the nozzle to dispense sanitizer upon detecting a human hand under a nozzle.

Foam dispensers

A foam dispenser has a foam-generating pump ( 1 ) mounted on a container ( 100 ) to hold liquid. The pump ( 1 ) has a liquid intake conduit with a ball valve ( 27 ) and an air intake conduit ( 45 ) provided partly by a jacket component ( 4 ) fitting around the pump body ( 2 ) with clearance. The pump has structure defining a mixing zone ( 50 ) for mixing air and liquid, a foam chamber ( 28 ) for holding foam received from the mixing zone, and a discharge conduit leading from, the foam chamber to a discharge outlet ( 36 ). The mixed air and liquid pass through a permeable foam, regulator mesh ( 54 ), One or more air inlets ( 47 ) lead into the mixing zone ( 50 ) from the air intake conduit ( 45 ). A liquid inlet in the form of a restricted jet orifice ( 89 ) leads into the mixing zone ( 50 ) from the liquid intake conduit, upstream of the inlet ball valve ( 27 ). A regulator mesh ( 53 ) is also provided between the liquid inlet and mixing zone.

Trigger-type ejector

A trigger-type ejector includes: a pressure storage chamber formed in a nozzle head and communicating with a flow path through a communication hole; a pressure storage plunger including a large-diameter pressure receiving portion opposite a small-diameter pressure receiving portion and being movable between a close position where an ejection hole is closed and an open position where the ejection hole is opened; and a biasing member disposed in the pressure storage chamber and biasing the pressure storage plunger toward the close position, the trigger-type ejector being configured such that, when a pressure of a liquid in the pressure storage chamber becomes equal to or greater than a predetermined value, the pressure storage plunger moves from the close position to the open position against a biasing force of the biasing member and thus a liquid in the pressure storage chamber is ejected from the ejection hole to the outside.

Measured dose dispensers and methods of using the same

A dispensing closure ( 10 ) for dispensing a flowable product ( 12 ) from a squeeze-type product container ( 14 ) includes a closure body ( 16 ) having an upper deck ( 32 ), an exit orifice ( 34 ), a flow conduit ( 36 ) providing a flow path to the exit orifice, and a skirt ( 40 ) configured to attach to the product container. A measuring reservoir ( 26 ) is received in engagement with a lower surface of the upper deck. The measuring reservoir is filled with a measured dose of flowable product through flow ports ( 54 ) when the container is inverted. A piston valve ( 28 ) is slidably movable within the measuring reservoir between an open position and a closed position. The piston valve is movable from the open position to the closed position to dispense the measured dose of product responsive to pressure within the container induced by squeezing.

Dispensers and methods for using the same

A dispenser includes a dispenser body and a base, wherein the base is attached to the dispenser body and a piston in the base is seated in a fluid passage of the dispenser body to define a dispensing chamber which may be filled by movement of the dispenser body relative to the base and emptied by the return of the dispenser body to the original position relative to the base.

Dispensing pump with polymer compression spring assemby

A dispensing pump includes a polymer compression spring assembly. The dispensing pump includes a pump base, and a dispensing head having a piston stem. The polymer compression spring assembly includes a slotted tubular spring element and first and second loading cones received at opposing ends of the slotted tubular spring element. The first loading cone is fixed relative to the pump base while the second loading cone is axially movable with the piston stem and dispensing head. The tubular spring element is disposed coaxially about the piston stem between the cones. When the dispensing head is compressed, the loading cones axially compress toward each other whereby the slotted tubular spring element radially expands to create an opposing contraction force, and in turn, an axial extension force. When released, the spring element elastically contracts to its at rest shape, returning the loading cones and dispensing head to their at rest positions.

A spray head assembly includes a tubular cylinder having a separation board transversely connected therein and a through hole is defined centrally through the separation board. A space is defined in the cylinder and communicates with the through hole. A check valve is located in the space and has a check rod which extends through the through hole. A piston rod is located in the cylinder and a spring is mounted to the piston rod. A cover is connected to the cylinder and a locking member. The piston rod extends through the locking member. A push tube extends through the locking member and communicates with the cylinder. A movable member is located in the push tube which is connected to a press head. A nozzle extends outward from the press head. The spray head is water-proof and the amount liquid remained in the nozzle can be sucked back after use.

Apparatus for pressurized liquid transfusion

An apparatus suitable for pressurized liquid transfusion is disclosed. The apparatus includes a nozzle assembly enclosed by the combination of a casing and a check nut. The nozzle assembly includes an elastomeric ring and a nozzle received by the combination of a cap and a receptacle. The elastomeric ring surrounds the nozzle and a proper seal is created therebetween. The dimension of the internal contour of the elastomeric ring is a bit smaller than the nozzle. The elastomeric ring is stretched so as to receive the nozzle. Additional processing may be applied to the elastomeric ring to achieve a different type of proper seal. Pressurized liquid passes through the apparatus so as to be transfused. The aforementioned seal serves to avoid leakage or pressure loss at the apparatus so as to avoid undesired aerosolization effects of an aerosolizer the apparatus is installed in.

Applicator

There is provided an applied liquid applicator for discharging applied liquid by turning of an operating portion provided to a barrel main body, in which filling efficiency of the applied liquid stored in the barrel main body with respect to an inside capacity of the barrel main body is improved. The applied liquid is fed to the applicator portion through the first valve and the applied liquid feed path by turning the operating portion and sliding the piston in the front-back direction by use of the cam mechanism portion.
