The filter 10 comprises a tubular mesh body 10A having an open end and a closed end. The open end is connected to the support collar 27 and the mesh body 10A extends away from the inlet opening 12D within the reservoir 9. The mesh body 10A is sized to pass through the filler opening 12D and has a high flow capacity to permit rapid filling of the reservoir 9. The filter 10 may be left in place when the reservoir 9 is connected to the spray gun and the reservoir 9 may be discarded together with the filter 10 after use.

The filter screen engages a push rod of a valve of a flow stop mechanism. The push rod spaces a valve member away from a valve seat to permit water flow through the inner flow conduit when the filter screen and nozzle are in place. If the nozzle is removed or if the inner conduit is severed, the filter screen can be removed, which causes the valve member to close under the force of water pressure and to shut off flow through the inner flow conduit. The valve is located upstream of parts that are vulnerable to damage.

The present invention discloses a filter comprising a tube extending from a first end to a second end and having a bore with an internal cross-sectional area. The tube comprises an inlet with an inlet cross-sectional area which is positioned through the first end of the tube. The tube also comprises an outlet with an outlet cross-sectional area, wherein the inlet cross-sectional area is less than the outlet cross-sectional area and so debris small enough to enter the inlet will tend not to block the outlet, which is larger. The filter further comprises a plurality of further inlets, often slots, in the tube between an outside thereof and the bore. In a preferred embodiment, the first end may be tapered and especially dome shaped. This helps to direct debris towards an out-side of the tube, where it is less likely to be drawn into the filter and potentially block it or a downstream component, such as a nozzle. The filter may be attached to a pipeline and a nozzle. 1. A filter comprising:a tube extending from a first end to a second end, the tube having a bore with an internal cross-sectional area;an inlet to the tube, the inlet being positioned through the first end of the tube and the inlet having an inlet cross-sectional area;an outlet from the tube the outlet having an outlet cross-sectional area;a plurality of further inlets in the tube between an outside thereof and the bore;wherein the inlet cross-sectional area is less than the outlet cross-sectional area.2. This invention relates to control of obnoxious odors from toilet bowl by fogging nozzles. This is accomplished by mounting fogging nozzles on an independent insert installed under the toilet seat on common mounting holes. Fogging nozzles are fed from the household water supply at 40-60 PSI. This is achieved by bifurcating water supply to the toilet tank or such water sources available in the bathroom. A control valve is used to control water supply and regulate water pressure to the fogging nozzles. Nozzles are directed to produce atomizing fog to fill the volume of the toilet bowl to capture and absorb air born odor molecules and drop into the pool of water in the bowl. Eventually the odor laden water is flushed at the end of cleaning cycle. 1.
