By mating the tip 114 and the seat assembly (shutoff) 118 into one, the seal 124 can be moved out of the dead zone 116 thus reducing spit volume and energy storage.

A device comprising:a container containing a first volume of matter;a nozzle including an open end portion, an inner cavity, and a sidewall, wherein the sidewall includes an opening, wherein the inner cavity is in fluid communication with the opening; anda pod including a plate, a dome, and a valve, wherein the plate hosts the valve, wherein the plate is secured to the dome, wherein the pod contains a second volume of matter between the plate and the dome, wherein the pod is secured to the sidewall such that the plate extends along the sidewall and the valve is in fluid communication with the inner cavity through the opening, wherein the second volume of matter is input into the inner cavity via the valve when the inner cavity receives the first volume of matter and the dome is compressed towards the sidewall such that the first volume of matter mixes with the second volume of matter within the inner cavity thereby forming a third volume of matter that is output from the open end portion.2. The device of claim 1 , wherein the pod is removably secured to the sidewall such that the plate extends along the sidewall and the valve is in fluid communication with the inner cavity through the opening.3. The apparatus decodes the message data and subsequently provides a power signal via wire to one or more proximally-located DC latching solenoid valves to control the irrigation valves according to the user input.
