The scraping and washing member ( 43 ) is held by holding means at a scraping and washing position where the scraping and washing member is pulled out of the communication flow paths. By taking out the scraping and washing member ( 43 ) from the nozzle main body ( 42 ) and holding the scraping and washing member ( 43 ) at the scraping and washing position, remaining substance in the communication flow path can be scraped out. By causing water to flow through a washing water flow path in the communication flow path where the remaining substance has been scraped out, the communication flow path can be washed. On the other hand, even in the state in which the scraping and washing member ( 43 ) is inserted, a flow path can be secured by the flow path portion of the scraping and washing member ( 43 ) whereby injection of contents liquid can be secured.

Trehalose or trehalose-6-phosphate, when applied exogenously to citrus trees that are compromised in their growth and development with the condition referred to as citrus greening or HLB, can overcome the deadly effects of the problem. Renewal of tree tissue with trehalose or trehalose-6-phosphate has been documented to begin as soon as 72 hours after exogenous application to the dying tree. The tissue renewal continues with near complete renewal of the leaf canopy, development of fruiting buds, followed by flower development and then development of the flowers into abundant and healthy fruits. Much of what appeared to be dead wood tissue could be covered with healthy new leaves within 2 to 4 months after application. Addition of defined hormones to the soil application of trehalose or trehalose-6-phosphate further enhanced development of new canopy and root tissue.

When the rinse adapter assembly is attached to the throat of the container, the rinse tube of the rinse adapter assembly extends upwardly through the gravity flow valve assembly and into the interior of the container. Rinsing fluid, such as water, is supplied to the rinse tube which sprays the rinsing fluid onto the interior of the container to rinse the chemical residue from the interior of the container. This thin film sheet is used for cleaning a slit-type spray nozzle, and comprises a substrate and a gel layer located on at least one side surface of the substrate, wherein the gel layer is produced from a swelling-type polymeric material. In the process of cleaning a spray nozzle of a coater, the presence of the gel layer allows the contact area between this cleaning sheet and the spray nozzle to be increased; and furthermore, the cleaning effect for the spray nozzle of the coater has been also greatly improved, since microporous structures of the surface of the gel layer can better adsorb dust on the spray nozzle of the coater. Meanwhile, the micro-elasticity of the gel layer can reduce scratches of the spray nozzle caused during cleaning. The thin film sheet of this disclosure improves cleaning effect and reduces the number of used thin film sheets required for cleaning, so as to save the cost, reduce the takt time of cleaning, and increase the production efficiency.

With the use of a low cost microphone mounted at each nozzle, a sound signature of the nozzles may be captured and stored to be used as a continuous indicator of any changes in the flow rate of the nozzles. By measuring changes in sound at each nozzle, it is possible to determine the change in flow before a change in pressure manifests into a problem in the system. The change in sound will oftentimes be significant for plugged nozzles, or nozzles that have excessive wear and flow at too high of a rate. The invention has the advantage of being relatively low cost with ceramic microphones for example. and with little or no moving parts required. A closed loop control system may be included to compensate for nozzle degradation.

An apparatus for non-contact cleaning a paint spray tip of a spray gun. The apparatus includes a housing with a top and an opening formed in the top to receive the spray tip. At least one drier nozzle is fluidly connected to a source of compressed air so that discharge from the nozzle impinges upon and dries the spray tip. Similarly, at least one solvent nozzle is also attached to the housing around the opening and discharges solvent on the spray tip when positioned in the housing opening. One or more down flow nozzles are also mounted to the housing to create a downdraft through the housing opening to facilitate cleaning and drying of the spray gun spray tip. A heated fluid also flows through the housing in close proximity to the fluid passageways for the drier nozzle and solvent nozzle in order to heat both the drier nozzle air flow and solvent flow to facilitate cleaning of the spray tip.
