The compression device acts to collapse the compartments and dispenses the components through the device outlet. The components have different viscosities. The chamber of a less viscous component has a flow control regulator ( 111 ) to compensate for extra pressure exerted on that compartment by an adjacent compartment containing a more viscous component. The flow control regulator restricts the flow of the less viscous component, thereby achieving a volume mixing ratio that is closer to the intended volume mixing ratio.

A dispenser with a transfer assembly is arranged to efficiently transfer a stored liquid from a reservoir in a body of the dispenser to an applicator. The transfer assembly includes an adapter, applicator base, piston and a bias member. The adapter is in contact with the body and has a central member with orifices to fluidly couple the applicator base to the reservoir. The applicator base is supported by and extends beyond the adapter. The applicator base forms a cavity for housing the piston and the bias member. A tubular member of the applicator base supports an applicator. The piston includes a passage that conveys the stored liquid from the cavity to the applicator. The bias member keeps the head of the piston against a surface of the central member. When stored liquid is under a pressure that exceeds a bias force, displacement of the piston, opens a seal.

A grease gun which uses a piston to mechanically push grease from a standard tube without the need for air pressure. A grease tube chamber is sized to hold a standard tube of grease, and may be closed at a first or front end by a cap with a dispensing nozzle. At a second end, a piston assembly includes a plunger rod with a piston that may be advanced towards the front end by a drive handle assembly. As the piston advances, it enters into the open rear end of a grease tube, pushing the grease forward where it is dispensed through the nozzle on the cap. When not in use, the plunger rod is urged rearwards by a spring, pulling the piston away from the grease to reduce potential leakage.

An improved dispensing device for application and dispensing of viscous liquid substances comprising of a storage reservoir, dosing mechanism with audible and tactile feedback, dispensing plunger, nozzle tip, and end of travel pressure release mechanism. The dosing and the dispensing are de-coupled, allowing a preselection of dosage volume and controlled dispensing. A pressure relief mechanism is incorporated to eliminate oozing of liquids after the termination of dispensing. 1. A sealant discharge nozzle configured such that a sealant from a cartridge is discharged from a discharge hole of the sealant discharge nozzle ,the sealant discharge nozzle having a leading end portion that comprises:a pair of side wall portions; anda connecting wall portion configured to connect the pair of side wall portions with each other and provided in cooperation with the pair of side wall portions to form a first recess that is open on one side in a first direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the sealant discharge nozzle, and on a leading end side, whereinthe discharge hole has an opening formed on a first recess side of the connecting wall portion.2. The invention relates to a dynamic mixer for tough materials, especially for the constituents of dental impression pastes. One end of the mixer can be connected to a device which provides the material, and the other end forms an nozzle (19) for discharging the mixture. A mixing tube (1) is situated between the two ends, said mixing tube containing a mixer shaft (16) which can be driven so that it rotates. The mixer shaft forms a mixing channel (17) with the mixing tube (1), said mixing channel having an annular cross section, and has mixer blades which project out approximately radially from the mixing shaft (16) towards the wall of the mixing tube. According to the invention, the radial width of the mixing channel (17) is no greater than 2 mm, with the result that the mixing effect is vastly improved.

The nozzle of the present invention has an internal chamber, condiment input and discharge ports in fluid communication with the internal chamber, and an extension downstream of the condiment discharge port. Preferably, the internal chamber has a flow disrupter taking the form of a funnel-shaped end portion adjacent to the condiment discharge port. The internal chamber is preferably elongated and has a larger cross section than the spout to which the nozzle is connected to reduce condiment pressure and flow speed entering the nozzle. Condiment pressure can also be reduced in the internal chamber by other types of flow disrupters: protrusions extending from the internal chamber walls into the condiment flow and/or by an insert received within the internal chamber. At the funnel-shaped end portion, condiment flow adjacent to the internal chamber side walls is preferably diverted toward the discharge port to generate crossflow and turbulence, further reducing condiment pressure and force. The condiment discharge port is defined by one or more apertures preferably selected based upon the type of condiment dispensed to prevent drips between condiment dispenses. Preferably, the nozzle extension surrounds the condiment discharge port and is a skirt defining a discharge recess. Laterally-exiting condiment from the condiment discharge port is preferably diverted by the extension to prevent condiment splatter on the user and surroundings. The extension also hides condiment buildup and dangling condiment, partially encloses such condiment from the surrounding environment, and protects such condiment from contamination.

A dispensing device comprises a cartridge unit with at least two chambers containing liquid or pasty substances and pistons therein being connected with each other by at least one blade adapted for cutting through a dividing wall, between two chambers and separating their contents, only one piston assembly being required which can be operated with a propellant under excess pressure preferably not exceeding 6 bars. As no piston rod is required the construction of the device is very compact. In a first step for actuating the pistons, the cartridge unit is moved forward toward an exit end of the device bearing a discharge nozzle whereby valves in the device are opened and contents from the cartridge unit are conveyed to the discharge nozzle. After each discharge a restoring element returns the cartridge unit to a rearward end position whereby the valves are closed and no contents can leak from the cartridge.
