A router bit vise that holds and prevents the rotation of a router bit in a selected direction. It includes a tool housing and a cylindrical throughbore. Located in the throughbore is a one-way clutch assembly sized to accept a router bit shank. When inserted into the one-way clutch passageway, the router bit shank is engaged by the one-way clutch mechanism preventing movement in one rotational sense and allowing freewheeling movement in the opposite sense. No externally applied clamping force is required. With the router bit shank engaged with the one-way clutch circumferential rotation of the router bit is controlled allowing for bit maintenance, including cleaning, sharpening and most importantly enabling the application of the torque necessary to tighten or loosen a router bit fastener with no potential for shank slipping or damage.

The spanner comprises two thin jaws 3, 5 mounted in recesses in the head 1 of the tool, the jaw 3 being fixed by a screw 4 and the jaw 5 by a screw 7 after being adjusted by a set screw 8 against the pressure of a spring. An aperture 11 is formed in the head to receive the side plate of the pedal. Both jaws may be made adjustable and the adjustment may be effected by a screwed spindle operated by a nut 13, instead of by the set screw 8.

Two cooperating jaws 2,3 protrude from one end of the inner member and are pivotally connected, via hinge pins 13 engaging slots 14, to a shaft which is axially movable when the handle is rotated relative to the inner member. The jaws have cam surfaces 7 which engage with end surfaces of the inner member such that when the shaft is moved in a direction away from the jaws, the jaws are caused to close around an object to be gripped. Pins 11 extend from the sides of the jaws and provide means to engage with a lever and plate assembly (6,18-20 fig 3) to enable extra leverage when removing resistant fasteners. The jaws each have a three part face (8-10 fig 9) to improve their grip.

The lip and open end of the tube are formed by cutting an angular opening at one end of the tube to leave a portion of the tube as a projection or lip. The free end of the lever means carries a saddle or shoe which is adapted to allow a finger ring to pass over it and the lip member as that forcible adjustment of the free end of the lever away from the lip member securely grips the ring.

The disclosed technology is a wrench or other tool with a top side, bottom side, left side, and right side. A working end of the tool has a clamp open or openable on the top, left, and right sides. A handle region defined by an elongated shape is adapted for gripping. A mid-region of unitary construction is attached to the handle region and a head region, wherein the head region is a separate piece fastened to the mid-region, such as by threads or bolts. A base with a flat side is formed of unitary construction, such as forged in the same metallurgy process, as the mid-region. The flat bottom side of the base may be angled to entirely rest on a surface when a corresponding bottom side of the handle region rests on the surface. 1. A handheld tool for installing wire on a fence, the tool having a frame, a sprocket system that is situated at least partially within the frame and engaged by an actuator, a T-post alignment unit that is configured to position a vertical T-post against the tool, a clip storage magazine that is attached to a top of the frame, a tube assembly that is movably mounted within the frame, and a presenter that is configured to present clips from the magazine. The sprocket system and tube assembly are configured to cause the clip presented by the presenter to be pushed into position against the T-post and a horizontal fence wire, tension the fence wire against the T-post, lock the fence wire into position against the T-post by straddling the T-post with the clip, and wrap two ends of the clip around the fence wire to attach it to the T-post. 1. The socket is slipped over the rod and held against the bolt head end of the rod by a compressible spring. The concrete anchor driver tool is operated by coupling the concrete anchor driver tool to a rotary hammer drill, slipping the socket over the concrete anchor, and operating the drill in the hammer mode to hammer the concrete anchor bolt into the concrete. The rotary hammer drill is then put in rotate mode and used to rotate the concrete anchor driver tool rod, which rotates the socket, which, in turn, tightens the nut on the concrete anchor.

A device to assist with untying rope knots comprises an elongate body having a first end and a second end. There is an enlarged tip portion extending from the first end of the elongate body. The enlarged tip portion increases in diameter from a proximal end thereof to an intermediate portion and decreases in diameter from the intermediate portion to a distal end thereof. The enlarged tip portion is configured to be inserted into a loose knot in a rope so that the enlarged tip portion inhibits the device from slipping out of the knot after the knot is tightened. When removing the device from the knot, the enlarged tip portion further expands the knot relative to the elongate body so as to facilitate untying the knot. 1. A device to assist with untying rope knots , the device comprising:an elongate body having a first end and a second end; andan enlarged tip portion extending from the first end of the elongate body, the enlarged tip portion increasing in diameter from a proximal end thereof to an intermediate portion and decreasing in diameter from the intermediate portion to a distal end thereof;wherein the enlarged tip portion is configured to be inserted into a loose knot in a rope so that the enlarged tip portion inhibits the device from slipping out of the knot after the knot is tightened.2. The hand tool has two elements both having handles operatively associated so that the distal end jaw portions of the elements are movable between a closed and an open position. An opening jaw has a penetrating probe for opening convolution of a split ring, while the opposing supporting jaw provides a supporting surface acting as an anvil providing opposing force to the other linear elements probe. The split ring is generally disposed around the spaced apart opposing jaws, permitting the probe to penetrate the convolutions over a deeper range because there is no limitation created by the opposing jaw.

The disclosed concrete anchor driver tool is coupled to a rotary hammer drill to install a concrete anchor. The tool includes a rod having multi-faceted bolt head end, such as a hexagonal bolt head end, and a socket having a multi-faceted opening in the socket end of the socket. The socket is slipped over the rod and held against the bolt head end of the rod by a compressible spring. The concrete anchor driver tool is operated by coupling the concrete anchor driver tool to a rotary hammer drill, slipping the socket over the concrete anchor, and operating the drill in the hammer mode to hammer the concrete anchor bolt into the concrete. The rotary hammer drill is then put in rotate mode and used to rotate the concrete anchor driver tool rod, which rotates the socket, which, in turn, tightens the nut on the concrete anchor.
