Способ модификации древесины

Способ модификации древесины включает обработку древесины погружным методом в пропиточном растворе при нормальных условиях с последующей термообработкой. При этом в качестве пропиточного раствора используют 5% масс. раствор предварительно полученного сополимера глицидилметакрилата и 2,2,3,3,4,4,4-гептафторбутилметакрилата в метилэтилкетоне, при мольном соотношении мономеров, равном 1:2, пропитку осуществляют в течение 2–24 ч, а термообработку – при 140°С в течение 2 ч. Способ изготовления древесного нейтронозащитного материала

При этом в качестве пропиточного раствора используют 3% масс. раствор предварительно полученного сополимера глицидилметакрилата и выбранного из ряда гексилметакрилат, децилметакрилат, лаурилметакрилат, тетрадецилметакрилат, стеарилметакриалат производного метакрилата в метилэтилкетоне, при мольном соотношении мономеров, равном (4-1.5):1. The copper-based particles are sufficiently insoluble so as to not be easily removed by leaching but are sufficiently soluble to exhibit toxicity to primary organisms primarily responsible for the decay of the wood. Exemplary particles contain for example copper hydroxide, basic copper carbonate, copper carbonate, basic copper sulfates including particularly tribasic copper sulfate, basic copper nitrates, copper oxychlorides, copper borates, basic copper borates, and mixtures thereof. The particles typically have a size distribution in which at least 50% of particles have a diameter smaller than 0.25 μm, 0.2 μm, or 0.15 μm. At least about 20% and even more than 75% of the weight of the particles may be composed of the substantially crystalline copper salt. Wood or a wood product may be impregnated with copper-based particles of the invention.

Metal nano articles were incorporated into wood. Ionic liquids were used to expand the wood cell wall structure for nanoparticle incorporation into the cell wall structure. Nanoparticles of elemental gold or silver were found to be effective surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) imaging contrast or sensing agents. Nanoparticles of elemental iron were found to be efficient microwave absorbers and caused localized heating for disrupting the integrity of the lignocellulosic matrix. Controls suggest that the localized beating around the iron nanoparticles reduces losses of cellulose in the form of water volatiles and CO. The ionic liquid is needed during the incorporation process at room temperature. The use of small amounts of ionic liquid combined with the absence of an ionic liquid purification step and a lower energy and water use are expected to reduce costs in an up-scaled pretreatment process. 1. The present invention provides wood preservative compositions comprising micronized panicles. In one embodiment, the composition comprises dispersions of micronized metal or metal compounds. In another embodiment, the wood preservative composition comprises an inorganic component comprising a metal or metal compound and organic biocide. When the composition comprises an inorganic component and an organic biocide, the inorganic component or the organic biocide or both are present as micronized particles. When compositions of the present invention are used for preservation of wood, there is minimal leaching of the metal and biocide from the wood. 1. A wood product comprising:(a) a dispersion in water of a biocidally effective amount of particles of copper carbonate or basic copper carbonate having a particle size of between 0.001 and 25 microns; and(b) a biocidally effective amount of one or more organic biocides selected from cyproconazole, propiconazole, and tebuconazole,wherein the particles of the copper carbonate or basic copper carbonate are distributed within the wood product and render the wood product resistant to fungal decay.2. The wood product of claim 1 , wherein the particles of the copper compound have a particle size of between 0.001 and 10.0 microns.3. The wood product of claim 1 , wherein the particles of the copper compound have a particle size of between 0.001 and 1.0 microns.4. The wood product of claim 1 , wherein the particles of the copper compound have a particle size of between 0.05 and 1.0 microns.5. A flexible structure is formed by subjecting cellulose-based natural wood material to a chemical treatment that partially removes hemicellulose and lignin therefrom. A method of milling chlorothalonil to form a sub-micron product having a narrow particle size distribution is presented. The milling involves wet milling of the chlorothalonil with high density milling media having a diameter between 0.1 mm and 0.8 mm, preferably between 0.2 mm and 0.7 mm, and a density equal to or greater than 3.8 g/cc, preferably greater than 5.5 g/cc, in a ball mill using between about 40% and 80% loading of the mill volume with milling media, and having the chlorothalonil suspended in an aqueous milling liquid which comprises one or more surface active agents. The milling speed is preferably high, for example from about 1000 rpm to about 4000 rpm. Use of Sub-Micron Copper Salt Particles in Wood Preservation

A method for preserving wood by injecting into the wood a slurry having: particles of a sparingly soluble copper salt, copper hydroxide, or both, wherein the weight average diameter d 50 of the particles in the slurry is between 0.1 microns and 0.7 microns and the d 98 of the particles in the slurry is less than about 1 micron; a dispersant; and water. The dispersant is anionic or a mix of anionic and non-ionic. Advantageously, less than 20% by weight of the particles have a diameter less than 20 nanometers. Useful copper salts include basic copper carbonate, tri-basic copper sulfate, copper oxychloride, basic copper nitrate, basic copper borate, copper borate, basic copper phosphate, or copper silicate. The slurry most preferably includes copper hydroxide particles. The slurry further advantageously includes at least one organic biocide, wherein at least a portion of the organic biocide is coated on the particles.

本发明公开了一种纳米Ag‑TiO 2 木材防霉抗菌剂的制备方法,包括以下步骤:将硅烷偶联剂溶解于乙醇溶液中获得乙醇溶解液;按重量分数计,将载银量为1~2%的纳米TiO 2 固体与乙醇溶解液按照5:1‑2的比例溶于一定量无水乙醇中搅拌反应2~4h,并保持无水乙醇的温度为60~80℃,反应结束后离心获得沉淀物;将得到的沉淀物用无水乙醇超声分散后干燥至恒重,得到纳米Ag‑TiO 2 木材防霉抗菌剂。该方法简单,易于实现大规模生产,经本发明提供的制备方法获得的纳米Ag‑TiO 2 木材防霉抗菌剂,具有环境友好、高效、缓释、广谱的木材防霉抗菌性能,且具有无毒无害、抗流失性强、杀菌率高并对多种霉菌均有防霉效果。
