There is also a new and novel seamed sleeve of heat shrinkable polymer of the foamed or foam/film type, the seam having corresponding islands appearing as outer surface variations along the seal-seam area corresponding with the placement of the islands on the seal bar nose surface used in making the seam.

A wire sleeve hand application tool includes a handle and a plurality of mandrels received in the handle and being selectively extendable from an axial end of the handle. Each of the mandrels are biased into a retracted position in which an entirety of the respective mandrel is received in the handle. Each of the mandrels are further axially extendable to an extended position in which an axial tip and a portion of the respective mandrel extends from the axial end of the handle while an opposite axial end of the respective mandrel remains supported within the handle. An extended mandrel may be used to insert a wire sleeve or tubular marker onto a wire or other elongate member.

A tubular bowel management assembly for carrying malodoriforous or faecal matter from the rectum, the tubular bowel management assembly comprising a silicone based tube with one end insertable into and retainable within the rectum using an inflatable anal bulb, the tube extending externally from the rectum for conveying waste matter from the body to a collection container or bag. The sleeve member material is selected from poly(vinylidene chloride) (PVDC); poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVOH); an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH); a polyamide (nylon) or co-polyamide or polyamide blends selected from PA-6, PA-6,6, PA-11, and PA-12, amorphous polyamides, MXD6 polyamide; a polyester (PET); a polyester elastomer; glycol-modified polyester (PETG); a polyester or co-polyester blend; poly(acrylonitrile) (PAN); polyurethane (PUR); polyvinyl chloride (PVC); polychlorotrifluoro ethylene (PCTFE); styrene-acrylonitrile copolymers; acrylonitrilebutadiene- styrene terpolymers; poly( methyl methacrylate); styrene-butadiene copolymers.
