The invention is a polyoxymethylene film and a preparation method. The polyoxymethylene film comprises: 96 to 98 parts by weight of polyoxymethylene resin, 0.5 to 2 parts by weight of nucleating agent, 0.5 to 1 parts by weight of antioxidant, and 0.5 to 1 parts by weight of formaldehyde absorbent. In view of the high crystallinity and fast crystallization rate of polyoxymethylene, blown film process is used to directly blowing the molten mass extruded through a die of a screw extruder to form a blown film bubble. It is easy to form thin neck and easy to break when stretching, so the method is beneficial to form polyoxymethylene film, and has high processing efficiency, and is suitable for industrialization. Copolymerization unit —CH—CH—O— is introduced into the molecular chain of polyoxymethylene and its ratio is increased, thereby effectively reducing the crystallization rate of the materials and making it easier to form a film. 1. A polyacetal resin composition for molding a plate-shaped molded article , comprising:(A) 100 parts by mass of a polyacetal resin having a melt index (in conformity with ASTM-D1238, 190° C., 2.16 kgf) of 2.0 g/10 min to 4.0 g/10 min;(B) 0.1 parts by mass to 2 parts by mass of a polyacetal copolymer having a branched or crosslinked structure, which is a copolymer of (b1) trioxane, (b2) a compound having 2 to 4 cyclic ether units per one molecule, and (b3) a compound having one cyclic ether unit per one molecule; and(C) 0.1 parts by mass to 1 part by mass of a hindered phenol-based antioxidant.2. In addition to being freely flowable at a temperature near its softening temperature, a useful powder is disclosed that has a two-tier distribution in which substantially no primary particles have an average diameter greater than 180 νm, provided further that the number average ratio of particles smaller than 53 νm is greater than 80 %, the remaining larger particles being in the size range from 53 νm to 180 νm. A powder with slow recrystallization rates, as evidenced by non-overlapping endothermic and exothermic peaks in their differential scanning calorimetry characteristics for scan rates of on the order of 10 °C to 20 °C per minute, will also result in sintered parts that are near-fully dense, with minimal dimensional distortion.

A process and material therefrom is described where a material comprised of a continuous orientable polymer matrix with one or more discontinuous or continuous second phases is stretched in the solid state using more than one device to apply force to the unoriented material to form a material that consists of a continuous oriented polymer matrix with one or more other phases. At least one of the phases releases from the oriented polymer matrix forming voids during the orientation process, thereby reducing the density to less than that of the original unoriented mixture. One or more of the phases may stay bonded to the continuous oriented polymer phase, acting as a reinforcing agent and forming no voids. Methods for forming such a material allowing for the control of the final shape and affecting the final density independent of the composition are also disclosed.

There is disclosed a biaxially oriented film formed of film forming composition comprising a polyoxymethylene polymer in which the major constituent of the main chains of said polymer each of consists substantially of repeating units of oxymethylene group --CH 2 --O--, said film being characterized in that, when said film is remelted at a temperature above the melting point of said film and the resulting melt is recrystallized isothermally at 140° C. into a solid in film form, the number of polyoxymethylene spherulites in the crystal structure at the surface of the resulting film would be at least 50 per 0.1 mm 2 area of the resulting film surface, as measured with a polarizing microscope through cross-polarizers, and a process for manufacturing the same.
