Pipes or pipe bundles are insulated with a thermoplastic foam, the insulating sleeve being obtained from a flat strip of foam by deforming it transversely to its longitudinal extent and closing the butt seam by welding or adhesion bonding. The strip is briefly heated, on its side forming the subsequent inner side of the insulating sleeve, to the thermoelastic or thermoplastic state and in this state is preformed to the desired insulating sleeve cross-section. The pipe or the pipe bundle is introduced continuously through the open butt seam of the preform and subsequently the butt seam is closed. The process is simple and economical and is suitable for insulating rigid and flexible pipes or pipe bundles.

Horacek Heinrich

Methods and combinations of a curing catalyst with a mold release mixture, which is then subsequently applied to the surface of a mold prior to the application of polyurethane reactants to said mold, where the curing catalyst component has the effect of catalyzing the reaction at the surface of the molded part. This catalysis results in greater reactivity at the surface between reacting portions and lower delamination of the surface of the foam, thereby leading to more attractive skins with a more consistent cell structure, and lower de-mold times due to skins whose nature makes them less likely to adhere to the surface of the mold. These foams will be less likely to tear upon opening of the mold, and production quality and output will be improved. 1. FIELD: chemical industry; methods of production of the molded laminated formed components. SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of chemical industry, to the method of manufacture by the process of molding, and in particular, using the reactionary injecting molding of the microcellular or non-cellular elastomeric polyurethane surface layer, which usually contains a protective layer for formation of a composite or, in a general sense, to the method of manufacture of a composite, which contains the first laminated formed component, which is produced by means of the molding process out of a polyurethane reaction mixture, and the second laminated formed component, which at adherence to the first component forms a composite. The first laminated formed component, and in particular, its surface layer, are produced by injection or filling of a polyurethane reaction mixture in a closed press-mold, which has the first and the second interacting sections, so that the rear side of the indicated first component is formed due to the contact with the second section of the mold. To exclude usage of the separating compositions on the rear side of the first laminated formed component and therefore their negative action on the adhesion with the second laminated formed component and also to eliminate penetration of the reaction mixture on this rear side between the sliders of the mold, the surface of the mold is supplied with a removable preventing adhesion coating made in the form of a flexible sheet material. As the such coating they may use the elastically-stretched sheet material, to which before closing the mold preliminary put into the given shape according to at least the general configuration of the second section of the mold and which is elastically stretched by means of the second section of the mold at its introduction in the first section of the mold for closure of the mold.
