Environmentally responsible insulating construction blocks and structures constructed primarily of recycled materials are disclosed. The environmentally friendly construction blocks and structures comprise shredded rubber tire pieces coated with silica fume, slag cement and cement, which are then mixed with water and formed in a mold. A layer of grout or a fireproof material may be disposed on one side of the environmentally responsible insulating construction block. The environmentally responsible insulating construction blocks can be used in place of wood blocking for roof assembly applications such as installation of a drip edge or wall coping; or in expansion joints. The environmentally responsible insulating construction blocks provide high insulation as well as strength for applications such as green roofing, wall construction and green roofing decks. Environmentally friendly structures can be built by pouring the coated shredded rubber tire pieces into molds to form walls, and then to pour a layer of the coated shredded rubber tire pieces as a roof deck, thereby creating a self-supporting structure in a monolithic pour. 1. Disclosed are a sorbent produced by recycling waste paper, which is an eco-friendly recycling paper resource, to adsorb and remove a marine spilled oil and other types of oil and a method of producing the same. The oil sorbent is produced by hydrophobizing a biomass material such as waste paper using a gas-grafting method. Compared to the oil sorbent of the prior art formed of synthetic resin, it is possible to provide excellent oil adsorption selectivity, a high oil adsorption rate, and a low water absorption rate. Therefore, an incineration process for processing the waste oil sorbent after use is easy advantageously. The oil sorbent generates less harmful substances during combustion because the eco-friendly material is used. Since a biomass material is hydrophobized using vegetable fatty acids, decomposition is performed fast within a short time in a landfill process, and there is no risk of environmental pollution. 1. An eco-friendly oil sorbent comprising a hydrophobized cellulose substrate.2. The eco-friendly oil sorbent according to claim 1 , wherein the cellulose substrate is hydrophobized by using a gas-grafting method based on fatty acid chloride.3. According to one embodiment, a polyisocyanurate foam board is described. The foam board includes a polyisocyanurate core that is produced from: an isocyanate, a polyol, and a phosphorous containing non-halogenated fire retardant. The foam board also includes a facer material that is applied to at least one surface of the polyisocyanurate core. The polyisocyanurate core has an isocyanate index greater than about 200 and is able to forms a sufficiently stable char when exposed to flame conditions to enable the polyisocyanurate core to pass the ASTM E-84 test. The foam board has an initial R-value of at least 6.40 and exhibits an ASTM E1354-11b test performance that is equivalent with or better than a similar foam board having a halogenated fire retardant, such as tris(2-chloroisopropyl)phosphate (TCPP). 1. Embodiments of the disclosed soft interior trim components may be manufactured using a spray application process.
