SOLUTION: The recording liquid with a color material and the treatment liquid containing the component reactive with the color material are brought into contact with each other and mixed on a material to be recorded, then the image is formed by adjusting the pH (γ) of the mixed liquid. In formation of the image, the above component has an isoelectric point at which the zeta potential(ζ) variation of the component against the pH variation of the mixed liquid becomes zero. The recording liquid and the treatment liquid are adjusted so that the pH (a), having the variation rate of near -2.5 mV×1 /mol against the pH of ζ in the acidity side starting from the pH (c) at the isoelecric point, satisfies the conditions ...
