In one embodiment, an outer periphery of a curved center portion of a wheel is attached to a wheel barrel in an inboard region, and a portion of the center portion extends into the outboard region of the wheel. At least a portion of the wall of the wheel barrel preferably comprises a gradual slope, instead of a traditional wheel mounting drop, and thus the interior lip depth is not obstructed by the interior bulge generally created by such a drop. In other embodiments, a wheel mounting drop is configured to permit multi-piece wheels to be joined at or near one of the drop walls to allow the wheel center to be positioned further in the inboard direction than in traditional wheels.

The present invention provides a non-rotational center cap for use with vehicle wheel. The present invention comprises a support, an interlocking device, an ornamental object, and a sealer cap. The support is the part of the non-rotational center cap that affixes to the center bore of a vehicle wheel, the interlocking device is mounted in a depression formed on the support. The interlocking device biases the orientation and prevents the rotation of an ornamental object that is connected to it. The sealer cap is connected to the support, the sealer cap protects the ornamental object from water, dust, debris and oil, the sealer cap also prevents movements of the ornamental object that could be caused by winds when the vehicle is in motion. The ornamental object does not rotate when the vehicle is in motion which allows the ornamental object to be readily visible.

This invention is a rim shield for covering an automobile rim and providing a seal between a flange of the automobile rim and a sidewall of the tire around the rim. The rim shield has a circular shaped body with a handle positioned on the side of the body and a channel formed along a periphery of the body on its bottom side, or the side that faces the rim. The channel houses an O-ring that is shaped in a manner that allows the O-ring to seal the space between the sidewall and the flange. A mounting bracket system for securing a wheel cover to a wheel of a vehicle , the wheel being mounted on a hub of the vehicle via bolts or lug nuts about a rotational center of the wheel , each of the bolts or lug nuts when mounted on the wheel having space between a head or circumferential flange thereof and the wheel surface , the bracket system comprising:a base plate with apertures formed therein with first portions adapted to fit over said wheel about said center thereof and about each of the bolts or lug nuts fastening same to the hub of the vehicle,the apertures in the base plate having narrower portions adapted to be captured beneath the heads or flanges of the bolts or nuts when the base plate is rotated into a final position; andat least two upstanding mounting tabs attached to the base plate and extending away from the wheel and hub of the vehicle for cooperating with the wheel cover and retaining it in position over the wheel.2. Aspects of the present disclosure involve a wheel cover configured to streamline a wheel of a motor vehicle. In one implementation, the wheel cover includes a unit that mounts and dismounts to the hub of a wheel of a vehicle without brackets, bolts, and assembly kits. The wheel cover system may include a circular cover that covers the center of the wheel hub. An engaging structure may include one or more hooks opposed from each other with small access ports to facilitate mounting and dismounting of the wheel cover on the wheel hub.
