The present invention relates to a method and a device for preventing oversensitive braking due to over-braking of a vehicle. The method for preventing oversensitive braking comprises: (S1, S2, S3) steps of measuring conditions for determining a sensitive braking environment of a vehicle; (S4) a step of finishing braking when the conditions measured in the steps do not correspond to a preset oversensitive braking environment and performing a control operation such that a brake device of the vehicle is operated in a sensitive braking prevention mode when the conditions correspond to the sensitive braking environment; (S5) a step of performing first braking in the sensitive braking mode; (S6) a step of comparing an index of deceleration to pedal force with a preset value in the first braking in step (S5) to check whether the index of deceleration to pedal force is bigger than the preset value; and (S7) a step of finishing braking when the index is smaller than the preset value and repeatedly performing braking in the sensitive braking mode in step (S4) when the index value is bigger than the preset value. An accident can be prevented, and riding comfort of passengers can be maintained. Moreover, the apparatus for preventing oversensitive braking has a permanent magnet installed on an input shaft of a brake device and an electromagnet installed on a plunger to be positioned opposite to the permanent magnet, thereby achieving convenient application.

An electric parking brake device holds a parking brake in a braking state by a rotation-linear motion conversion mechanism that converts rotation of an electric motor into a motion in a linear direction, and releases the parking brake by the rotation-linear motion conversion mechanism. In a case of releasing the parking brake, the electric motor is controlled by combining PWM control and ON/OFF control with each other. When the electric motor is driven according to the PWM control, and a predetermined time has elapsed after start of the PWM control, then the electric motor is changed to drive according to the ON/OFF control. In the ON/OFF control, a change in which a drive current of the electric motor is decreased stepwise is detected, whereby a torque drop of the rotation-linear motion conversion mechanism is detected.
