Устройство содержит полое гибкое боновое заграждение 4, концы которого соединены с двумя буксирами 3, выполненными на пневмопотоке с плоской платформой, и включают в себя плавающее транспортное средство для создания сжатого воздуха и тяги в виде импеллера, расположенного в носовой части буксира, где движение происходит в закрытом положении. Судно-нефтесборщик 1 для откачки нефти выполнено в виде катамарана, корпуса которого прикреплены к расположенному между ними каркасу. Внутри каркаса на вертикальных осях, имеющих приводы, расположен ряд барабанов по длине каркаса и, по крайней мере, два ряда барабанов по его высоте. На каждый барабан намотана отдельная лента бонового заграждения 4, имеющая на концах соединительные элементы 13 для механического сопряжения с соседними лентами. Боновое заграждение 4 выполнено с возможностью соединения его полостей с источником сжатого воздуха непосредственно через напорную газовоздушную трубку, расположенную на платформе буксира и подсоединенную к соплу импеллера. In operation, when the vessel has reached an oil polluted area, the floats are partly flooded to lower throat 42 of inlet mouth 34 below the surface of the water, a water pump 52 and venturi ejector 48 apply suction to tank 22, and as the vessel is propelled over the polluted water the oil floats to the top of the tank while the water passes astern. Pump 52 also serves to pump out the oil into an attendant vessel, to pump up an oil entrapment tube 82, and to control the buoyancy of the floats 12, 14.

The different biological microorganisms are intermittently introduced into the enclosure along with water; the water is continuously aerated and fed into the enclosure at a rate of at least about 60 feet per minute. The treated water so produced is continuously removed from the enclosure at a rate of at least about 60 feet per minute. The pH, the total dissolved solids, the temperature, and the flow rate of the treated water are continuously measured.

The energy communicated to the rejected cleaned water can be advantageously used for propelling and manoeuvering the ship or platform. The invention rinds an application in the production of skimming crafts of all capacity used for the de-pollution of rough waters, in harbours, river, estuaries, and at sea.

The water craft has at the water level at least one water inlet and, secured just behind this inlet, a collecting boom (2) which extends forwards and outwards, directing water to inside the craft, where there is a separating device (5) for the recovery of the oil from the water. In the water craft of this type the difficulty so far has been that, when the craft travels at a somewhat higher speed, water pressure in front of the boom tends to rise so high that some of the oil-contaminated water (3) "escapes" under the boom (2). A rapidly deployable flexible enclosure system for the collection, containment and presentation of hydrocarbon emissions from compromised shallow or deepwater oil and gas well systems, pipelines, including subsea fissures. The flexible containment enclosure can accommodate any depth and adapt to any collection terminator configuration required. The flexible containment enclosure system is connected to the floating platform and supported by positive offset neutral buoyancy attachment devices. The floating platform may be assembled onshore and towed, ferried or assembled on site. A floating debris pickup system that includes watercraft with a forward extending landing door located at the bow that can be selectively lowered or raised by the operator. Attached to or near the upper edge of the landing door is a rigid net frame. A net is attached to the net frame. Ocean water is removed by a drying device. The dried waste material is frozen to a temperature at or below minus fifty degrees Fahrenheit, using liquid nitrogen or other suitable means. The frozen waste material is then pulverized and ground into a powder. The powder may then be sprayed into a gas-filled chamber and heated. Temperature, pressure and humidity are maintained within the chamber for more than one minute. Microwave or other radiation and catalysts may be used to enhance the process of extraction. The processed material is then removed from the chamber. Carbon may be recycled or used as fuel by the ship. Water may be used by the ship or returned to the ocean. 1. A system useful for collecting water and debris from a body of water at or near the surface of the body of water onto a waterborne vessel , the vessel having front and rear ends and being positionable at or near the surface of the body of water , the system comprising:at least a first cargo compartment disposed on the vessel, being in fluid communication with the body of water and configured to contain water and debris collected from the body of water;at least one bulkhead disposed on the vessel between said first cargo compartment and the front end of the vessel;at least one passageway disposed adjacent to or formed in said at least one bulkhead and fluidly coupling said first cargo compartment and the body of water;at least one suction conduit disposed on the vessel and fluidly coupled to said first cargo compartment;at least one discharge pump disposed on the vessel and fluidly coupled to said at least one suction conduit, wherein when said at least one discharge pump is actuated during use of the system, said at least one discharge pump will create suction in said at least one suction conduit to concurrently (i) draw water and debris from the body of water through said at least one passageway into said first cargo compartment and (ii) draw water from said first cargo compartment into said at least one suction conduit; andat least one wave dampener disposed on the vessel and extending into said first cargo compartment at least partially across the width of said first cargo compartment, said at least one wave dampener having a front end, a rear end and at least one float disposed proximate to said rear end, said front end of said at least ...

Oil floating on a body of water is collected by moving a shallow-draft water craft, such as a barge, having a sternwardly slanted bow section and below the water line an ingress opening in or near the bow section through an oil slick. The slant of the bow section forces oil in its path downwardly thereby causing the oil, possibly intermingled with water, to flow as a flat layer along the bottom of the barge. As the oil reaches the ingress opening it is propelled into a hold of the barge due to the pressure differential between the outside and the inside of the barge.
