A license plate decal is provided on a folded (e.g. Z-folded) business form which acts as a carrier for the decal. A cut out is formed in a panel of the mailer and a patch (such as a glassine patch) is adhesively secured at a peripheral portion to the mailer panel and a release coating is provided on at least a significant part of the central portion of the patch. The decal adhesive engages the release coating so that the decal and its associated pressure sensitive adhesive may be readily removed from the patch. The patch may be secured to the paper on either face thereof; if secured at the bottom face, the patch and decal can flex into the cutout to provide a minimum thickness when in a stack of mailer intermediates. Where the patch is secured at its top face, the maximum thickness of the patch and decal combination is preferably about 0.008 inches, which is significantly less than the thickness at the decal in prior art carriers.

Proposed system comprises rotating element and, at least, two heads arranged on rotating element. Each head has a first vacuum adjustment configured to engage the folded material to change the direction of movement thereof, and a second air blower configured to blow the folded material from the rotating member, after which it forms a pile of piled folded material. A folding machine for folding fiber products and fiber products formed and stacked thereby are disclosed. The folding machine includes two folding devices, each of which includes a cutting device, a delivery wheel, a folding-line wheel, a platen wheel, and a folding wheel. The cutting device cuts the fiber product and transports the cut fiber product to the delivery wheel. The folding-line wheel is adjacent to the delivery wheel for making a first folding line on the fiber product carried by the delivery wheel, and then the platen wheel folds the fiber product along the first folding line. Subsequently, the once-folded fiber product is transported to the folding wheel. The folding wheels of the two folding devices are adjacent to each other and are used to fold the fiber product passing therethrough for a second time, and thus fiber products with three folds are formed.

The folding device comprises four parallel pairs of main arms, having the same length and disposed in a cross, which rotate in a direction of rotation consistent with the direction of feed of the creased tape around a central axis of rotation perpendicular to the latter, four corresponding parallel pairs of secondary arms, pivoted to the peripheral ends of the main arms, toward the inside thereof and rotatable in an opposite direction to the latter, and four folding rods pivoted to the peripheral ends of the secondary arms, so that each of the four folding rods is suitable to describe in space a substantially elliptical trajectory. The folding rods are suitable to intercept the creased tape in correspondence to every two of the transverse creasings. The major axis of the trajectory is substantially horizontal and the central stacking axis of the collection means is substantially vertical and parallel to the minor axis of the trajectory.

According to the present invention, the apparatus can load the rubber sheets (s) in zigzags by moving the rubber sheets (s) on an x-axis or a y-axis and shaking the rubber sheets (s) to the left and right in a wig-wag manner on the pallet (20) as well as aligning both edge parts of the rubber sheets (s) by pressing the rubber sheets (s) with the pressing plates (170, 180).

A license plate decal is provided on a folded (e.g. Z-folded) business form which acts as a carrier for the decal. A cut out is formed in a panel of the mailer and a patch (such as a glassine patch) is adhesively secured at a peripheral portion to the mailer panel and a release coating is provided on at least a significant part of the central portion of the patch. The decal adhesive engages the release coating so that the decal and its associated pressure sensitive adhesive may be readily removed from the patch. The patch may be secured to the paper on either face thereof; if secured at the bottom face, the patch and decal can flex into the cutout to provide a minimum thickness when in a stack of mailer intermediates. Where the patch is secured at its top face, the maximum thickness of the patch and decal combination is preferably about 0.008 inches, which is significantly less than the thickness at the decal in prior art carriers.

At the location of making shaped parts from the feedstock material, the layers of the z-fold feedstock material may be separated and one or more of the layers treated, textured, embossed, etc., then reassembled into the stack which is fed to the stamping operation, all on a continuous basis. This enables the z-fold feedstock material to be made from smooth metal layers, which increases the density of the material and reduces the volume space required for storage of the z-fold material.

본 발명은 스택테이블 상에 양극과 음극 및 분리막을 적층하기 직전과 적층 후에 각각 스택테이블 및 양극-음극-분리막의 적층체의 최상단에 단면 전극을 공급하여 적층할 수 있도록 함으로써 최하단과 최상단에 단면 전극이 적층된 전극조립체의 제조 시간을 단축시키고, 작업 효율을 향상시킬 수 있는 이차전지 전극조립체의 단면 전극 스택용 분리막 핸들링장치 및 이를 이용한 이차전지 전극조립체 제조 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 이차전지 전극조립체의 단면 전극 스택용 분리막 핸들링장치는, 제1전극과 제2전극과 분리막(separator)이 적층되는 스택테이블의 상측에서 제1전극이 스택테이블에 적층되는 제1위치와 제2전극이 스택테이블에 적층되는 제2위치 사이에서 왕복 이동 가능하게 설치되는 헤드부; 상기 헤드부에 설치되어, 제1위치에서 최상단 단면 전극이 적층된 후 분리막의 끝단을 파지하고, 제2위치에서 최하단 단면 전극 상에 분리막을 전달하는 분리막 홀딩부; 및, 상기 제1위치에서 분리막 홀딩부에 분리막이 파지된 상태에서 분리막을 절단하는 분리막 커팅유닛;을 포함할 수 있다.

A system for stacking continuous folded forms or web coming from a folder and separator and moving to a conveyor. A table is positioned adjacent and in line with the conveyor and in a position for receiving a horizontally-extending stack of folded forms disposed on the table top. The table is a tiltable table and is able to be tilted from a substantially-horizontal position to a substantially-vertical position to likewise move the stack from a horizontal to a vertical stack position. A cart is movable to a position adjacent to the tilted table for receiving from the table the vertical stack for support on the cart. The cart can include a plurality of storage locations that can each be provided with a stack.

In a document imaging apparatus in which documents are fed to an imaging station and then fed to a documents catch tray system for automatic document restacking, there is provided a common, shared, restacking catch tray receiving either cut sheet documents or computer form (CF) web documents at the upper surface of the imaging apparatus, rather than dropping the CF web down to a tray below the end of the apparatus. This dual mode restacking catch tray is pivotable from a first position at a generally horizontal tray angle for restacking cut sheet documents into a second position at a preferred angle for fan-folding a computer form web. There is also an upper baffle unit partially overlying the output path to the restacking area, which is pivotable between a first position for planarly guiding cut sheet documents, and a second, raised, position for guiding a computer form web arcuately and then downwardly into the restacking area with an integral CF guide baffle. This upper baffle unit desirably includes an integral gate which automatically selectively gates documents into two different paths segments, below or over the guide baffle, which gate may be provided by one end of the guide baffle.

An apparatus and a method for forming a block (5) of folded material are provided, whereby the apparatus comprises means (2, 3) for folding a web (4) to a block (5), means (10) for holding an end (7, 7') of the web (4) from the bottom layer of the block (5) and an automatic cutting mechanism (9, 11, 13) for providing an end portion (14) from the uppermost layer of the block (5). According to the method a web (4) on a receiving element (6) is folded until a portion of the web (4) forms a block (5) of desired height and the uppermost web layer is fed to a cutting mechanism (9, 11, 13). Then the uppermost web layer is cut and the end portion (7, 7') from the bottom layer of the block (5) is at least partly laid on top of the block (5). Due to the inventive apparatus and method it is possible to automatically handle web material for forming a block without manual operation, which is particularly important for hygienic products.
