In many cases, Bentonite, an absorbent aluminium phyllosilicate, is used as a binder since its use typically provides pellets with the required mechanic properties, e.g. wet strength, dry strength and drop number. Overall, there is still a need to reduce the amount of Bentonite in metal-containing ore pellets while at least maintaining desired mechanic properties of the metal containing pellet. It is thus an object of the present invention to produce metal-containing ore pellets that provide desired mechanic properties by using organic binders. 본 발명은, 방오 도료의 제조에 사용되는 친수성 아크릴 수지 및 이를 이용한 방오 도료 조성물에 관한 것으로, 특히 친수성 단량체 및 아크릴계 단량체의 공중합체인 친수성 아크릴 수지 및 아산화동을 사용하지 않는 방오제를 포함하는 방오 도료 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 친수성 아크릴 수지 및 이를 포함하는 방오 도료 조성물은 독성이 강한 아산화동 등의 동 화합물을 사용하지 않고도 바인더의 친수성기를 통한 해양 단백질의 부착 방지, 디메틸실록산류를 통한 부착된 해양 오손물질의 탈락을 기대할 수 있고, 친환경적이며 우수한 방오성을 발현시킬 수 있다.
