Клеевая композиция является продуктом взаимодействия водного раствора силиката калия (плотность 1,3-1,37 г/см3, мольный силикатный модуль 3,4-3,7), безводного гидрооксида лития в смеси с двух-, трехатомным спиртом, волластонитом с размером частиц 150 мкм и менее при соотношении длины и диаметра, равном 5-3:1, тальком с размером частиц преимущественно 10-20 мкм и неорганическим пигментом. Клеевую композицию готовят заданным последовательным смешением компонентов. A bonding material for Al2 O3 is provided by preparing a mixture of 73.0% by weight of molybdenum, 8.5% by weight of manganese, 1.5% by weight of manganese fluoride, 6.0% by weight of lithium fluoride and 11.0% by weight of silicon dioxide, the percentages being approximate. The mixture is added to a carrier of pine oil, xylene and toluene and the resulting bonding compound is applied to the surfaces to be bonded. Polycrystalline or single crystal (Al2 O3) surfaces with the bonding material applied thereto are dried and, after drying, the surfaces to be bonded are placed in contact. The resulting assembly is fired at a sufficiently high temperature for the formation of a bond between the surfaces. A polycrystalline or single crystal Al2 O3 surface can be bonded to a metal surface by firing the Al2 O3 surface having the bonding material applied thereto prior to placing the surfaces to be bonded in contact. Compositions of this type are characterized by an extremely high storage stability as long as they are not heated. Hot curing compositions that cure with the action of heat can thus be produced. Heat-activated compositions can also be produced. When heat is applied the latter compositions are not cured but are activated so that they are able to cure under the influence of moisture. The curable compositions are particularly suitable for use as adhesives.

A moisture-curable resin composition comprising (a) at least one moisture-curable polymer having at least one hydrolysable silyl group; (b) at least one hydrocarbylalkoxysilane; and (c) at least one silane adhesion promoter containing a glycidoxy group. The composition may also contain additives including a catalyst for catalyzing the reaction between the moisture-curable polymer having at least one hydrolysable silyl group (a) with water under curing conditions, a filler, a plasticizer, and combinations thereof. The moisture-curable resin composition is useful in the production of adhesives, sealants and coatings for use in primerless concrete applications.

The polymer P1 is formed from a monomer mixture comprising (a) at least 40% by weight of C4 to C20 alkyl (meth)acrylates which when polymerized as homopolymers have a glass transition temperature of −30° C. or less, (b) at least 0.05% by weight of (meth)acrylate monomers having a substituent of the formula where X is CH 2 , O, NH or NR and R is a C1 to C4 alkyl group, (c) at least 0.1% by weight of acid monomers. The polymer P1 is prepared by polymerization in at least 2 stages, the glass transition temperature of a polymer from monomers of the first stage being lower by at least 20° C. than the glass transition temperature of a polymer from monomers of a later, second stage.
