Tape according to claim 1 , wherein said insert member comprises a stem having one end configured as an enlarged head designed to be abutted against said bare area around the through opening.3. Tape according to claim 1 , wherein said insert member has a stem with a rib or a relief or with an annular channel or groove for the snap engagement with an annular channel or with a rib or a relief provided in the through opening respectively.47b. Tape according to claim 1 , wherein said insert member has a stem () provided with a succession of ribs and grooves. The present invention relates to a fluid tight tape designed to be applied to a perforable package or packet, which perforable package or packet is particularly suitable for containing under vacuum foodstuff to be thermally treated.Cooking under vacuum is a cooking technique for foodstuffs that consists of cooking—at temperatures usually comprised between 70 and 100° C.—foodstuffs previously placed into specific packages or packets made of polymer material. These packages or packets are typically polyethylene bags with external nylon covering, wherein vacuum has been previously obtained by suitable means. The cooking of such foodstuffs can be carried out in a humid environment (e.g. by boiling), in a steam oven or microwave oven. One particular feature of this type of cooking is that there is no direct contact between the cooked foodstuffs, which are contained in the package under vacuum, and the cooking means. This allows avoiding losses of water from the foodstuffs, which thus preserve their tenderness as well as many other desired characteristics.Other advantages are obtained with this type of cooking. Cooking under vacuum also avoids direct contact of the foodstuff with external contamination ...

Extendable Self-Supporting Material Composites and Manufacture Thereof

Номер: US20130196120A1

Specific composite materials described herein are based on the discovery that certain selections of materials and manufacturing conditions and processes provide unexpectedly improved self-supporting thin-film composite materials. It has been discovered that certain combinations of backing materials, shrink film materials, and manufacturing conditions provide improved composites having highly controllable, readily repeatable, and stable arc shaped cross-web curled structures. In general, the composite materials described herein comprise a dimensionally alterable film such as a polyester shrink film having a first surface and a second surface, and a polyester backing material having a first surface and a second surface, wherein the second surface of the backing material is laminated to the first surface of the dimensionally alterable film. Upon activation of the alterable film, for example upon exposing the composite material comprising the polyester heat shrink film to heat, the composite material can be imparted with an arc shaped cross-web curled structure along it longitudinal width, resulting in resistance to bending in its axial length, and a self-supporting material. 1. SELF-ROLLING ADHESIVE FILM

Номер: US20130220532A1
Принадлежит: NITTO DENKO CORPORATION

An easily detachable adhesive film, which is deformed into a cylindrical shape by heating to facilitate collection, fails to be sufficiently bonded to the surface of a workpiece, if the surface of the adhesive layer is roughened by the presence of irregularities. Because of this, when water penetrates in dicing, the adhesive layer peels off from the surface of the workpiece and may fail to achieve a surface-protection purpose. In addition, when the easily detachable adhesive film is deformed into a cylindrical shape by heating, detachment stress may not uniformly applied to a workpiece, with the result that the film cannot be smoothly deformed into a cylindrical shape; at the same time, a larger amount of glue remains in the surface of a workpiece than a conventional peel-detachment. The present invention provides a crosslinked polyolefin-based resin-extruded foam sheet capable of reducing its thickness while retaining excellent flexibility and heat resistance. The crosslinked polyolefin-based resin foam sheet of the present invention is obtained by feeding a polyolefin-based resin and a thermally degradable blowing agent to an extruder, melting and kneading them, extruding the kneaded material through the extruder into a sheet to form an expandable polyolefin-based resin sheet, and expanding the sheet. Herein, a degree of crosslinking of the crosslinked polyolefin-based resin foam sheet is 5 to 60% by weight, an aspect ratio of a cell (MD average cell diameter/CD average cell diameter) is 0.25 to 1, and the polyolefin-based resin contains 40% by weight or more of a polyethylene-based resin obtained using a metallocene compound containing a tetravalent transition metal as a polymerization catalyst. 111-.
