The polymeric additive according to the invention consists of a polymer formed by units derived from one or more alkyl esters of unsaturated monocarboxylic acids, one or more unsaturated alpha, beta-dicarboxylic compounds in the form of diacids, low alkyl diesters or anhydrides and one or more monomers having ethylenic unsaturation of the general formula CH2=CZ1Z2, in which Z1 and Z2 are the same or different and represent hydrogen, a halogen, a saturated, unsaturated or aromatic hydrocarbon group or an ester or ether group. Compounds containing a crude oil and 5 to 4000 ppm and preferably 100 to 1500 ppm of the additive have much improved flow properties.

Paraffin waxes and hydrocarbon lubricating oils and greases are improved by addition of a small proportion, e.g. 0,5--10,0 per cent of one or more highly polymerized vinyl compounds containing oxygen, i.e. polymers of m.w. about 1,000 but preferably 3,000--10,000. The waxes become softer, and are less liable to acquire fissures, and are thus suitable for making candles. The lubricants have their pour points lowered, and their viscosity indices raised. The polymers may be formed in the wax, oil or grease, or in other oils to be added thereto; other polymerizable substances, e.g. iso-olefines may be present; and the polymers may be hydrogenated or otherwise modified chemically. Также предложена депрессорно-диспергирующая присадка. A cold flow additive for middle distillate fuel comprising a solvent and a reaction product that lowers cloud point temperatures consisting essentially of an alkyl α-olefin , an unsaturated anhydride , a phenyl alkyl alcohol or an alkyl phenol alkoxylate , a fatty alcohol , and a primary or secondary fatty amine.2. The cold flow additive of claim 1 , wherein the alkyl α-olefin is a C-Cα-olefin claim 1 , a C-Cα-olefin claim 1 , a C α-olefin claim 1 , or combinations thereof.3. A curing agent for epoxy resins having improved solubility characteristics has formula (I) where R is -C6H5X, -CH2C6H4X, -CH2CH2C6H4X, or -CnH2n-1, and X is either -H, -CH3, -OCH3, -OH, or -NY, where Y is -H or CH3 and where n is 1 to 12. Such substituted cyanoguanidines are soluble in various solvents and do not require the use of undesirable solvents necessary with cyanoguanidine itself.

Substantially linear ethylene polymers, such as ethylene/octene copolymers and ethylene/propylene/diene modified polymers, when added in a viscosity modifying amount to an oleaginous material, such as a lubricating oil, provides the material with a viscosity index that exceeds that of the material alone. The substantially linear ethylene polymers, prepared by constrained geometry catalysis, may be grafted with one or more unsaturated organic compounds, such as maleic anhydride, that contain ethylenic unsaturation. The grafted polymer may be further functionalized by reactions with, for example, an alcohol or an amine compound. The substantially linear ethylene polymers, when subjected to shearing action either before or after addition to an oleaginous material, improve shear stability of the oleaginous material. The substantially li near ethylene polymers, whether grafted, grafted and further reacted or not, also work as a thickening agent for compositions such as those used in greases, cable filling coumpounds and cosmetics. In addition, the substantially linear ethylene polymers provide effective results when blended with other components of conventional oleaginous material compositions.

FIELD: chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer compositions which are obtained by radical polymerisation. Polymer composition having pour point depressant properties is obtained by radical polymerisation of monoethylenically unsaturated monomers (A) in the presence of at least one copolymer of ethylene with a vinyl ester (B), wherein: monomers (A) comprise at least 70 wt% alkyl(meth)acrylates (A1), based on the amount of all monomers (A), copolymers of ethylene with a vinyl ester (B) contain from 55 to 85 wt% monomer units of ethylene and from 15 to 45 wt% monomer units of the vinyl ester of general formula H 2 C=CH-O-(O)C-R 1 (III), in which R 1 is a hydrocarbon residue having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and the amount of monomers (A) is from 70 to 90 wt%, and the amount of copolymers of ethylene with vinyl ester (B) is from 10 to 30 wt%, respectively, based on the total amount of monomers (A) and copolymers of ethylene with vinyl ester (B). Process is characterised in that alkyl(meth)acrylates (A1) are a mixture of: (A1a) – 50 to 99 mol% of at least one alkyl(meth)acrylate (A1a) of general formula H 2 C=C(R 2 )-COOR 3 , in which R 2 is hydrogen or a methyl group and R 3 is an unbranched alkyl radical having from 16 to 30 carbon atoms, and (A1b) represents from 1 to 50 mol% of at least one alkyl(meth)acrylate (A1b) of general formula H 2 C=C(R 2 )-COOR 4 , in which R 2 is as indicated above, and R 4 is a hydrocarbon residue selected from the group consisting of the radicals R 4a , R 4b and R 4c , respectively, denoting: R 4a unbranched alkyl radicals having 1 to 11 carbon atoms, R 4b branched alkyl residues with 4–60 carbon atoms and R 4c cyclic alkyl residues with 5–20 carbon atoms, provided that the total amount of alkyl(meth)acrylates (A1a) and (A1b) is 100 mol%. 本发明公开了一种四元共聚物柴油降凝剂的制备方法,至少包括以下步骤:a、在溶剂条件下,以甲基丙烯酸与高级醇为原料合成甲基丙烯酸高碳醇酯;b、在溶剂条件下,以马来酸酐与高级醇为原料合成得马来酸酐高碳醇酯;c、在溶剂条件下,以甲基丙烯酸高碳醇酯、马来酸酐高碳醇酯、醋酸乙烯酯和苯乙烯为单体,再加入引发剂,制备得四元共聚物柴油降凝剂;其中,甲基丙烯酸高碳醇酯:马来酸酐高碳醇酯:醋酸乙烯酯和苯乙烯的摩尔比为4:1.8~2.2:2.8~3.2:0.8~1.2。本发明的有益效果是:采用四元共聚物降凝剂替代现有均聚物降凝剂,四元共聚物降凝剂的降凝效果明显好于单一组成的均聚物降凝剂。
