Graphite is obtained in sodium hydroxide solution by electrochemical delamination of thermally expanded graphite foil. Method comprises reacting potassium sulphide obtained by dissolving sulphur in a hydrazine hydrate-KOH system at temperature of 55–60 °C and molar ratio KOH:S = 4:1, for 2 hours, with chlorlignin with content of chlorine of 2.4 or 3.4 wt% and vinylidene chloride at temperature 25 °C and molar ratio of sulphur:vinylidene chloride = 1:1, weight ratio of sulphur:chlorlignin = 1:2. There is disclosed lubricant additives that comprise a combination of vegetable oil as a triglyceride or a wax ester, sulfurized triglyceride vegetable oil or sulfurized wax ester of vegetable oil, and phosphite adducts of triglyceride vegetable oil, wax ester of vegetable oil or jojoba oil. There is also disclosed a process for sulfurizing triglyceride vegetable oil that is soluble in a lubricant base, such as mineral oil.

A metallic fastener means comprising a threaded portion , wherein at least part of the threaded portion is coated with a composition which is hard and touch-proof at ambient temperature , and wherein the components and their amounts meet the requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as set in 2015 and which essentially consists of:(a) a paraffin wax with a congealing temperature as determined by ASTM method D938-71 (reapproved 1981) in the range of 50 to 70° C.,(b) 1 to 5 parts by weight (pbw) of a resin per pbw of paraffin wax,(c) 0.1 to 0.25 pbw graphite per pbw of paraffin wax, and(d) 0.05 to 0.30, preferably 0.08 to 0.25 pbw of an FDA-approved silica per pbw of paraffin wax.2. Methods for recovery of concentrates of lubricating compounds and biologically active compounds from vegetable and animal oils, fats and greases that allow separation of triglycerides, from components with higher lubricity or biological activity or enrichment protocols that increase the concentration of high lubricity or biologically active compounds in the triglyceride. The triglycerides are transesterified with a lower alcohol to produce alkyl esters. Following the conversion process the esters are separated from high molecular weight high lubricity compounds and biologically active compounds by distillation. The esters have some lubricity and may be sold as pollution reducing fuel components. The high boiling point compounds that are the residues of distillation, however, can either contribute significant lubricity and may be used widely in lubricant applications or added to petroleum fuels to decrease friction or the biologically active components may be used in nutritional, cosmetic and therapeutic applications. Therapeutic applications include use in human diets to lower cholesterol.
