A color change compression fabric and/or garment can include an elastic material having one color in an unstretched condition that changes to a different color in a stretched condition. The different, stretched color corresponds to a predetermined amount of stretch applied to the material, which in turn can correspond to a predetermined amount of compressive pressure. The compression fabric may include a covering yarn having a first color and wrapped a number of turns about an elastic yarn having a second color different than the first color. When the fabric is stretched, the turns of the covering yarn move apart from each other to expose the second color of the elastic yarn underneath. A particular amount of fabric stretch can provide a unique color profile of a combination of the first and second colors, and the unique color profile preferably corresponds to a certain amount of compressive pressure. 1. A stable finely knitted fabric is disclosed which includes a plurality of yarns including filaments of about 1.5 denier or less. The yarns are knitted into a fabric using a right-leaning top triangle (RTT) pattern. The fabric includes a face side having a plurality of parallel and elongated ridges and a back side having a smooth surface without elongated ridges. The fabric exhibits a wicking action from the smooth side to the ridged side of the fabric and excellent absorption. Further, the fabric may be used as a liquid applicator, when an absorbant liquid reservoir layer is added to the back side, as channels of air between the ridges increase liquid flow from the back side to the face side.

The invention provides an antimicrobial fiber which exhibits excellent antimicrobial properties even without the addition of antimicrobial agents and can remain antimicrobial even after repeated washing. The antimicrobial fiber comprises a fiber having on a surface thereof a polyacetal copolymer (X) containing oxyalkylene groups, the molar amount of oxyalkylene groups in the polyacetal copolymer (X) being 0.2 to 5 mol % relative to the total of the molar amount of oxymethylene groups and the molar amount of oxyalkylene groups. 2. Metal alloy knit fabrics, thermal protective members formed therefrom and their methods of construction are disclosed. This unique capability to knit high temperature metal alloy wire that is drapable allows for the creation of near net-shape preforms at production level speed. Additionally, ceramic insulation can also be integrated concurrently to provide increased thermal protection. The metal alloy knit fabrics described herein overcome the limitations of current welded stainless steel mesh seal coverings by providing coverings that withstand higher operational temperatures than stainless steel, are wear and snag resistant, can be a separate seal layer or as a portion of an integrated seal construction, can accommodate tight curvature changes to achieve complex shapes without wrinkling or buckling, and can be joined in the knitting process, sewed or mechanically fastened, without the need for welding.

The present invention provides fabrics with cut loop group and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the core yarn at the section where said loops are being cut is outwardly protruded from the covering yarns, while the synthetic fiber divided yarn, which is a core yarn, is separated into multiple filaments. The fabrics with cut loop group show superior characteristics in polishing properties, sliding properties, water absorption properties, rapid drying properties and feeling of touch since polishing can be performed while easily catching foreign substances such as extremely minute dust particles or human hairs and the like by the synthetic fiber divided yarn which functions as a hook. Thus the fabrics with cut loop group according to the present invention can be used usefully in the products such as various kind of mats, towels, bathroom products, and the like including dishclothes and mops.
