Устройство для сушки одежды и обуви, содержащее камеру для размещения в ней подлежащих сушке предметов, в которой организована циркуляция сушильного воздушного потока за счет забора воздуха извне камеры и подачи его средством нагнетания воздуха в камеру для нагревания и последующего отвода увлажненного воздушного потока из камеры во внешнюю среду, отличающееся тем, что камера выполнена в виде шкафа с элементами для развешивания подлежащих сушке одежды и размещения обуви, в верхней части шкафа смонтированы вытяжные вентиляторы, а в нижней части шкафа закреплен тепловой блок, включающий в себя средство нагрева поступающего извне камеры воздуха и средство нагнетания нагретого воздуха внутрь камеры, при этом устройство снабжено электронной системой управления циркуляцией сушильного воздушного потока, включающей в себя пульт управления с органами ручной установки значений влажности и температуры, датчиками температуры и влажности воздуха внутри камеры и исполнительными узлами для управления включением и выключением нагревательных элементов теплового блока и вентиляторов, с возможностью реализации функции остановки процесса сушки по истечению установленного времени или при достижении заданного уровня влажности воздуха внутри камеры. 2. A device and method are provided for detecting a root moisture content of clothing in a clothes dryer. The dryer has two conducting bars situated in the dryer bin. A pulse generator circuit is coupled to the conducting bars. A microcontroller is coupled to an output of the pulse generator circuit. The pulse generator circuit generates a pulse when wet clothing contacts the conducting bars in the dryer bin. The microcontroller receives the pulses and counts the pulses that are longer than a threshold length. The microcontroller issues a termination signal based on the number of counted pulses.

A method for operating a dryer appliance includes obtaining an initial operating temperature, obtaining a first temperature set point and a second temperature set point lower than the first temperature set point, wherein the first temperature set point and the second temperature set point are based at least in part on the initial operating temperature, operating the dryer appliance at the initial operating temperature, determining that a restriction level within the dryer appliance exceeds a restriction threshold, and operating the dryer appliance at the first temperature set point, lower than the initial operating temperature, upon determining that the restriction level exceeds the restriction threshold. 1. A method for operating a dryer appliance , comprising:obtaining an initial operating temperature;obtaining a first temperature set point lower than the initial operating temperature, wherein the first temperature set point is based at least in part on the initial operating temperature;operating the dryer appliance at the initial operating temperature;determining a restriction level within the dryer appliance;determining that the restriction level exceeds a restriction threshold while operating the dryer appliance at the initial operating temperature; andoperating the dryer appliance at the first temperature set point upon determining that the restriction level exceeds the restriction threshold while operating the dryer appliance at the initial operating temperature.2. The invention relates to a household appliance, more particularly a tumble dryer, comprising a working chamber and at least one latent heat store having a respective storage medium, wherein the respective storage medium is thermally coupled via a respective associated heat exchanger to a working medium circulating through the working chamber, wherein the working medium first moves from the working chamber to a heat sink, from said heat sink to the heat exchanger, from said heat exchanger to a heat source, and from said heat source back to the working chamber, and wherein the respective storage medium forms a substance mixture together with a respective carrier fluid, wherein said substance mixture can be conducted in a respective closed circuit through the associated heat exchanger for an exchange of heat with the working medium. The respective substance mixture circulates between the associated heat exchanger and at least one reservoir in the respective closed circuit, and the reservoir can be refilled layer-by-layer with the substance mixture conducted through the respective associated heat exchanger.
