Rotary machines; inking-apparatus. - An apparatus to be affixed to the counter of a shop &c. for printing advertisements on tying - up tape made of fibre, of the kind in which the printing-rollers can be exchanged if desired, is so constructed that the tape can be printed in more than one colour. The apparatus comprises a base a, which is secured to the counter &c., and carries a support for a supply-coil band a casing c in which is mounted a printing-roller d fitted with rubber &c. type. The roller d is mounted on a spindle or screw e, and rollers of different kinds may be employed. The tape g is led into and out of apertures in the casing c and through guides h. The roller d co-acts with spring-mounted inking and impression rolls k, f respectively. For printing part of the design in one colour and part in another, a cam m adjustably secured to one side of the roller d is adapted to trip the roller k for a portion of a revolution, and while this portion of the roller d is passing a second inking-roller n, the cam m brings the roller n into printing position by tripping a spring-controlled lever s which normally raises a spring-controlled lever o in which the roller n is mounted. The spring v of the lever s is stronger than the spring q of the lever o so that a pin u on lever s is able to keep the lever o raised normally.

Marking textile web with motif or reference mark - using printing device fitted with perforated endless paper band

BONNASSIEUX MICHEL

A textile web is marked with a motif or reference mark, using a printing device fitted with an endless paper band, which is perforated according to the marks required. The band passes around two rollers and is driven at the same speed as the web by the electric motor. The viscous marking or printing medium is fed from the inside to the outside of the paper band, by distribution means provided between the rollers. Process eliminates a tiring and painstaking manual procedure, by ensuring that the web and the perforated paper band are driven at precisely similar speeds.

Nissan Motor Co Ltd

The invention generally relates to a method and device for marking a woven fabric with indicia indicating the presence of discontinuous events, such as for example a predetermined unit length of woven fabric and the presence of an incorrect weft yarn pick. According to the invention, a nozzle 88 projects a predetermined length of an index yarn 70 through the shed 42 of the warp yarns of the fabric 46, under the control of an electrical circuit 94, the lengths of the yarn picks indexing allowing to differentiate the events with which they are associated. The invention applies in particular to the length marking and to the identification of incorrect picks of a fabric during production on a loom.

The tape (1) has a regularly repeating pattern with a side edge (5) along which there is a uniform strip (6) in which a mark (2) is contrasted. The method and the machine include an optical cell suitable for detecting these marks (2) and automatically perform an operation which requires precise positioning with respect to each pattern. The claws obtained by cutting the tape (1) at the connection (3) are preferably sewn onto the garment with a fold at the ends, one of which hides the mark (2) provided in its pattern.

Accessory for stamping marks on stockings - with spool for transfer paper web bearing heat or pressure transferable marks

Автор: [UNK]
CALZE MALERBA SpA

Accessory for stamping marks on stockings, on a machine for drawing stockings, comprises a series of rigid flat metal dummies held vertically by a stepping conveyor which passes through a heat treatment station. A spool for a transfer paper web bearing a series of heat and/or pressure transferable marks is rotatable downstream of the heat treatment station. An unwinder for the web is supported by the machine in a position so as to allow at least a short length of the web to be unwound parallel to >=1 stocking on a dummy corresponding to the outlet of the station, near the stocking. The unwinder is actuated in phase with the conveyor drive. A pressure plate also actuated in phase with the conveyor drive applies the unwound length of web to the stocking.

Bunker Ramo Corp

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for controlling the bias, curvature and stretch of a circular pile fabric. The apparatus 10 comprises a rotary needle roller II fed in a manner known per se, and producing a fabric 20 in tubular form, passing over a rotary deflector 27 before being cut longitudinally by a blade 40 and caught between two rollers. traction 28. To allow control of the bias, curvature and stretch of the knitted fabric, a marking device 42 affixes detectable marks, regularly spaced in a longitudinal zone corresponding to the cut line. After the cut fabric has been spread out, part of the marks is found on either side of the spread strip and makes it possible to carry out checks by means of suitable detectors.

Cutout stack marking needle

Автор: [UNK]
Geyer Wilhelm

Solid needle is run up and down on a sled to pass through stacks of material. A thread is reeled off a stock spool in tension, through an inking bath, wiped to clear excess ink and so through the needle eye marking the material and then reeled back onto a take-up spool on the other end of the machine. The needle has guides to keep the thread parallel for marking, and the take-up spool is motor powered through a friction clutch with limit switch to cut the motor out when no thread slack is available for reeling in. The sled can be hand powered, electromotorised or spring assisted. Stops on sled and machine work together to limit needle penetration.
