Fluid-actuated valves. - The outlet valves of flushing tanks &c. are held open until flow ceases by the action of the outflowing water on means such as vanes, which rotate or tend to rotate the valve. In one form, the vanes f<2>. Fig. 1, are mounted on a rod f, and the valve stem has a helical portion e<2> passing through a slot g<1> in the member g, a stop e<3> being provided. In a modification, the valve stem has a flat portion e<4>, Fig. 2, having cam surfaces e<5> adapted to engage over the edges of the slot g<1>.
