The measuring rod is removably attached to the guide bar and can be selectively positioned in a vertical orientation relative thereto or in predetermined angular orientations so that the guide bar can be utilized in forming channels at right angles or acute angles relative to the channels initially formed.

A rapid caulk tape system comprising:a tape provided in rolls,said tape being only a single layer having a pair of parallel perforated lines running lengthwise along the center of the tape and a crease formed along a center of the tape between said perforated lines to facilitate positioning of the tape in a wall corner;a removable central section defined by said parallel perforated lines;andsaid tape having a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating on a bottom surface of said tape, the pressure-sensitive adhesive coating located between said perforated line and an exterior perimeter of said tape such that said tape is thereby comprised of three sections: a first adhesive section, a non-adhesive section and a second adhesive section, with said removable non-adhesive center section defined by the perforated lines.2. The present invention provides a modified finishing trowel tool comprising a blade having a contact surface with a planar and convex component. A joint tape embedding apparatus configured to determine the bonding and/or “feel” of embedding joint tape into a dry wall or wall board joint using a particular joint compound. The joint embedding apparatus is configured to allow the same user or different users to accurately repeat the determination of the bonding and/or “feel” attributes of the joint compound. 1. A compression roller device includes markers on roller heads for pressure-rolling over a substrate to form visual indicia that the substrate has been properly pressure-rolled. In example embodiments, there are two roller heads that each have a set of markers and that are spaced-apart with a handle center-mounted between them. In this way, the roller heads have free/unobstructed outer/opposite edges so they can be positioned closely against an obstructing surface or element for rolling substrates in tight spots with limited clearance. Also, the recess defined between the inner/facing edges of the roller heads provides clearance for rolling over any protruding fasteners securing the substrate in place. A drywall compound package includes an outer bag containing a premeasured amount of compound powder and inner bag containing a premeasured amount of water. The inner and outer bags are sealed and joined together by heat or adhesive. The inner bag can be ruptured by manual pressure so that the water mixes with the powder. The outer bag is kneaded to mix the powder and water into a slurry. Then, a corner of the outer bag can be cut to form a discharge hole to squeeze out the slurry.
