The bleacher system is adapted to move between an open position in which seating is available for use and a closed position in which rows of seating surfaces are vertically stacked. The system includes handrails adapted to move between a use position when the system is in the open position and a stowed position when the system is in a closed position. A post of the handrail includes a cam and a cylinder surrounding the post includes a cam slot. A ramp on a surface of the aisle step engages the post and raises the post within the cylinder as the bleacher system is moved into the open position. As the post is raised in the cylinder, the corresponding cam and cam slot cause rotation of the post.

The tiered seating sections include first and second opposing curved seating sections, and first and second spaced apart straight seating sections. The first straight seating section is located in front of the hospitality area. When the seats are selectively arranged in the first seating arrangement, the first and second straight seating sections are disposed generally parallel to each other and extend between the first and second curved seating sections so as to define an obround distribution of seats around the event floor; and viewing access of the event floor from the hospitality area is impeded by the first straight seating section. Rotating seats contain structures of rotating platform, rotating columns and friction drive mechanisms. Rotating seats are designed with the possibility of rotation around the rotating columns. Displacement of the lifting seats and rotating seats is controlled by the main control system so that the lifting seats are at the same level as the rotating seats, when the lifting seats are in the lowest position and rotating seats move under the lifting seats, when the lifting seats are lifted upward. Use of hydraulic jacks provides significant noise reduction and provides displacement at high speed with heavy load, so that the lifted platform by itself and viewers in it can be lifted up and down in whole.
