The invention provides a flexible folding door adopted to be attached to an existing door jamb comprising a plurality of mini slats. A subplurality of mini slats are bounded on a forward end by a clip to establish a non-folding bound panel segment of the door. A second subplurality of mini slats establish the folding panel seam segments of the door. There is a dual caster assembly and a plurality of single caster assemblies attached to the top of the folding door. The caster assembly consists of at least two low friction wheels mounted on a U-shaped frame having depending legs, each depending leg having a low friction sleeve, the distal portion of each leg is attached perpendicularly to a ring. A stem is adapted to be seated through the ring and through an aperture in the clip and the top of the stem has a cap that overhangs the ring. A retaining pin secures the stem within the ring and thereby attaches the assembly to the clip and the folding door. A door package or door assembly is disclosed that includes multiple door panels. A top frame member has one or more tracks upon which one or more door panels may slide relative to a door opening to close the door opening when in a fully extended position and to open the doorway when in a retracted position. When in its retracted or open position, a plurality of door panels may also pivot about a pivot plate attached to the floor to a broken open position essentially perpendicular to the plane of the doorway opening. Upper and lower magnetic latch assemblies are provided that automatically decouple to permit pivoting of the entire door panel assembly when the panels are fully retracted, and when the panels are not fully retracted, are automatically actuated to prevent pivoting of the door panel assembly.

One purpose of the present invention is to provide a window and door system, realizing a locking action according as windows and doors are opened and closed by using an electromagnet and a permanent magnet, and locking and unlocking the windows and the doors by a simple operation for supplying a power to the electromagnet and generating a repulsive force in order to open the windows and the doors, thereby being easy to manipulate and enhancing a locking effect and a robbery prevention effect. Particularly, another purpose of the present invention is to provide a window and door system by using magnetism, separating the windows and the doors from a window door frame in a magnetic levitation manner if the windows and the doors start to move and making the windows/the doors and the window door frame slidable without contacts, thereby enabling anybody to easily open and close the windows and the doors while minimizing noises as well as making their opening and closing operations soft and rapid. Additionally, another purpose of the present invention is provide a window and door system by using magnetism, minimizing gaps between the windows/the doors and the window door frame because engagement between the windows/the doors and the window door frame is excellent in the case that the magnetic force does not occur at the electromagnet like in the state that the windows and the doors are in a closed state, thereby enhancing functions of sound proofness, insulation, airtightness, watertightness and wind pressure resistance at the gaps between the windows/the doors and the window door frame.

Said connectors ( 9 ) have a substantially C-profile embracing the flat plate ( 3 ) and the rail ( 4 ). A support piece ( 12 ) is attached to the connectors ( 9 ) and provided with connection means ( 13 ) for the suspension of a door ( 14 ) of a lift. A magnetic way ( 16 ) is attached to the plate ( 3 ) and an elongated primary ( 15 ) of a linear motor is attached to the strip ( 12 ) in such a manner that the attraction force between the magnetic way ( 16 ) and the primary ( 15 ) cancels at least partially the weight of the door ( 14 ). The door suspension system further comprises a bearing of substantially cylindrical shape with an axial recess. Said bearing is mounted in said opening ( 11 ) of the supporting means ( 10 ) and said rail ( 4 ) is introduced in said recess.

ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A sliding wall panel of a sliding partition, in particular for humid rooms. This sliding wall panel has a frame and a suspension device connected to the frame. Each suspension device comprises a roller adjustably mounted on the frame of the wall panel and capable of rolling on a guiding rail in the installed state of the wall panel; a chamber formed in the frame and having an upper opening; a rotatable adjusting part housed in the chamber and having a longitudinal vertical axis. The adjusting part has in its upper terminal portion internal threads engaged by the supporting element by means of external threads provided on the surface thereof. The supporting element is held against rotation and is supportingly connected from above to the roller whereby the supporting element may be moved up and down by rotation of the adjusting part. The latter consists of an adjusting cylinder and a projection in the form of a pin is provided on the supporting element, this projection passing through the adjusting cylinder in the axial direction, extending past the adjusting cylinder and engaging in a blind hole in the floor of the chamber.

In a magnetically supported sliding door, window or other panel the slidable wing 12 is mounted on a floating shoe 44 by means at each lower end of adjustable support means 47 comprising a threaded stud 49 screwing into a block 48 mounted in the wing frame 40-41, and carrying a control nut or ring 50 in a fixed vertical position thereon, the nut or ring 50 being provided with spaced circumferential holes 51 for manipulation purposes by a tool to turn the screw to adjust the height of the wing frame at each end relative to the shoe. Between the two blocks 48 is a block (54 Fig. 4) of foamed polyurethane, cellular rubber or the like to spread the load of the wing over the length of the shoe 44. The shoe also has set screws 61, Fig. 5 at spaced intervals on each side for adjusting the lateral position of the shoe with respect to the guide flanges 28, 29 of the sill 25 which is floatingly mounted on a thin resilient pad or layer 3f on the sill proper 13. Resilient guide strips 59 are inserted on the inner faces of the shoe to contact the flanges 28, 29 of the floating sill. The upper rail of the main frame is in two parts 17, 18 secured together by a heat insulation connection 19. A slidable fly screen 22 may be provided on the outer side 17 as shown.
