The engagement means (38) in its second position is spaced from the hinge pin (15) to permit its axial withdrawal from the other hinge leaf (12).

The eccentric pivot pin and the eccentric compensator cylinder are both axially displaceable from one another whereby to impart relative lateral displacement thereof anti of the barrels to a desired position. The adjustment screw at the bottom of the lower barrel section provides vertical adjustment between the frame leaf and the door leaf. Set screws are provided to lock the eccentric pivot pin and the eccentric compensator cylinder at the desired position.

본 발명은 차량용 인스트루먼트판넬의 일측 소정부위에 구비되는 엔진후드 릴리스레버의 힌지핀결합구조에 관한 것으로, 차량용 인스트루먼트판넬(2)의 일측 소정부위에 자체형성되는 오목부(3)에 고정되게 되는 브라켓(5)측 엔진후드 릴리스레버(1)의 힌지부(4)에 소정의 토션스프링(15)을 갖고 끼워지는 고정식-힌지핀(16)을 대신하여 상기 힌지부(4)의 양측 소정부위에 각각 형성되는 관통홀(18)에 편리하게 끼워질 수 있도록 소정의 가변식-힌지핀(19)이 구비되되, 상기 가변식-힌지핀(19)은 일측의 내측에 소정직경의 개구부(20)가 형성되고 타측에는 소정길이의 돌출부(21)가 동일체로 형성되는 하우징부(22)와, 상기 하우징부(22)의 개구부(20)에 소정의 스프링부재(23)가 가압되게 끼워지는 플린져부(24)로 이루어짐으로써 차량용 인스트루먼트판넬(2)의 일측소정부위에 구비되는 엔진후드 릴리스레버(1)를 상기 인스트루먼트판넬(2)축 오목부(3)의 힌지부(4)에 좀더 편리하게 끼울 수 있게 되는 효과가 있다.

A hinge pin is temporarily held on a first hinge member on the automobile body by means of a hinge pin support mechanism. A door to be attached to the automobile body is held in position, and a second hinge member on the door is brought into engagement with the first hinge member. The hinge pin is pressed into the second hinge member through the first hinge member to couple the door to the automobile door. The hinge pin support mechanism includes a hinge pin retaining member including a ring separably joined to a plurality of legs. When the hinge pin is pressed into the hinge members, the ring is sheared off from the legs and rides in a peripheral groove defined in the hinge pin. The ring then engages one of the hinge members to prevent the hinge pin from being removed from the hinge members. The door can automatically be attached to the automobile body by a door attaching mechanism and detached from the automobile body by a door detaching mechanism.

ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hinge pin is temporarily held on a first hinge member on the automobile body by means of a hinge pin support mechanism. A door to be attached to the automobile body is held in position, and a second hinge member on the door is brought into engagement with the first hinge member. The hinge pin is pressed into the second hinge member through the first hinge member to couple the door to the automobile door. The hinge pin support mechanism includes a hinge pin retaining member including a ring separably joined to a plurality of legs. When the hinge pin is pressed into the hinge members, the ring is sheared off from the legs and rides in a peripheral groove defined in the hinge pin. The ring then engages one of the hinge members to prevent the hinge pin from being removed from the hinge members. The door can automatically be attached to the automobile body by a door attaching mechanism and detached from the automobile body by a door detaching mechanism.

The spring hinge assembly consists of a pin (1) acting as a pivot for the hinges (2, 3).
