A spring biases the slider towards the stop position. The slider is held in the retracted position by a catch and is released by the sensor arm to prevent further opening of the window when the sensor gear reaches a predetermined location. The safety device resets when the window is closed and can be overridden to allow full opening of the window by an adult. In the preferred design, the child safety device is a cover that can replace the cover of an existing casement window operator.

The invention provides a modified box-shape safe that includes a cabinet having an open front contiguous with an open oblique side obtusely angled relative to the open front. The safe cabinet is formed by two vertically oriented rectangular sections that adjoin to form the cabinet's back and side wall and two horizontally oriented trapezoidal sections that adjoin adjacent horizontal edges of the back and side walls to form the cabinet's top and bottom. For every predestined thickness of modular elements of the container there are three different shapes of edge rails that are formed from two different widths of formable material of choice. The shape of edge rail for a door is formed from wider width, while the wider and the narrower widths form the walls, roof, and floor. Material for edge rails could be provided by steel mill in the form of flat strip drum-rolled for the roll-forming process in continuous manner, or being obtained by the shearing off of standard rectangular stock sheets for later forming in press brake. The three types of edge rail shapes A, B, and C preformed in either process, are subsequently cut to size depending of type and dimensions of modular panel. The said approach in production process allows utilizing individually manufactured parts assembled in rapid response to demand for customized product and eliminates the need to keep inventory of ready assembled bulky containers or pre-manufactured flat modules. 1.
