A gate hinge for a preferably wooden post which includes an L-shaped rod threaded on one leg with a metal strap rigidly connected to the threaded leg at about one and one half inches from the elbow of the rod on the threaded leg. The metal strap extends six or so inches form each side of the L-shaped rod with two or more holes near each end of the strap. The L-shaped rod is threaded into the post until the metal strap contacts the post. A generally hollow plastic molded pen front provides multiple operating positions of the door having sets of interdigitating hinge knuckles on the door and door jamb on both the left and right side. A support for a gudgeon

This invention relates to a support for a gudgeon. It is known to hang gates on posts by way of gudgeons. Over time the load and movement of the gate may cause the gudgeon to loosen. In this regard the hole that the gudgeon is screwed into becomes ‘over-sized’ due to wear and tear. This may necessitate replacing the gudgeon, or screwing it into another part of the post. It is an object of a preferred embodiment of the invention to address this problem. In this regard there is a support having a hub and a series of spikes. The gudgeon passes through the hub and the spikes are imbedded in a post. The arrangement is such that the support 1 takes up at least some tipping force on the gudgeon.

The present disclosure is generally directed to a gate having a frame that can fold and collapse into a compact profile for purposes of storage and travel. In an embodiment, a gate consistent with the present disclosure includes a plurality of frame members coupled together via hinged couplers. The hinged couplers provide an in-use configuration whereby the frame members occupy substantially the same plane and form a picture-frame/rectangular shape. Preferably, a foldable material such as mesh at least partially surrounds each frame member and extends between the frame members to form a sidewall.
