An example of a vertically operating door includes a flexible panel comprising two pliable sheets of material with a plurality of pads or mats of thermal insulation between the two sheets. In some examples, a plurality of horizontally elongate baffles made of pliable strips of material are installed between the two sheets. The baffles effectively divide one large interior volume between the sheets into more manageable smaller volumes or chambers. The baffles restrict the air between the sheets from being forced to the bottom of the panel as the panel ascends and bends across an overhead roller. Without the baffles and smaller chambers, the panel sheets in the area near the bottom of the panel would tend to bulge outward as the door opens.

The heated water, heated air, and electricity may be used in a building to which the construction panel is attached. The trim header J-channel, footer J-channel, and nailing fins are attached to the window at the accessory groove on the window frame. The window frame is lifted so frame header J-channel flange slides between the top edge of the metal building wall and a framing member at the top of the cut opening. The window is lowered so footer J-channel flange slides between the bottom edge of the metal building wall and a framing member at the bottom of the cut opening so that window frame rest on the window sill. Fasteners attach the window frame to the framing members through the metal building wall. Trim caps snap over the nailing fins to finish the trimmed window.

Seal a fenestration opening that contains a gap having a width of greater than 1.6 millimeters by providing a dispersion having the following components dispersed in an aqueous phase: (i) a film-forming polymer binder having a glass transition temperature in a range of −100 degrees Celsius to −20 degrees Celsius; (ii) a shear thinning rheology modifier at a concentration sufficient to cause the dispersion to have a Brookfield viscosity greater than 300,000 centiPoise as measured using spindle #3 at 0.3 revolutions per minute; and (iii) optionally, a filler; and then spraying the dispersion directly onto the building elements within the fenestration opening so as to form a continuous coating over the building elements and gap within the fenestration opening; wherein there is an absence of reinforcement or sealing material filling or spanning the gap prior to spraying the dispersion over the gap.

A garage door apparatus is described as having a one or more rotating panel. This rotating panel can also retract into the surrounding garage door structure to create an opening in the garage door. The panels may be rotated and/or retracted automatically by a user or as directed by monitoring software. A user may operate the apparatus through a specially programmed wireless communication device enabled with a user interface and coupled via a communications network. Alternatively, the user may choose to program the apparatus to react automatically based upon environmental inputs such as the detection of unsafe levels of Carbon Monoxide, excessive temperatures, or rain. 1. A stacking panel covering for an architectural opening includes a headrail and a plurality of suspended from the headrail. The panels form an overlapped stack at one end of the headrail when the stacking panel covering is opened, and cover the architectural opening when the stacking panel covering is closed. The panels are piggybacked on those adjacent thereto, so that they stack, one behind the next, when the stacking panel covering is opened, and so that each pulls the next adjacent thereto as the stacking panel covering is being closed. A one-piece sill pan flashing is provided with accordion sections enabling the flashing to be adjusted in width as necessary for installation in rough framing. The new flashing includes a sill plate cover with forwardly and downwardly inclined upper portions and lower portions extending downward from the upper portions. The accordion sections are incorporated integrally into the sill cover and are formed of narrow panels, flexibly connected along lateral edges to form V-shaped accordion folds having a series of ridges and valleys. Roller doors made of flexible material have a number of uses, particularly for rapid access into cool stores. However, such doors require stiffening in the form of wind bars to prevent the doors blowing out in gusts of wind. The wind bars produce problems when rapidly closing a roller door, as the door blade of the roller door is rolled up onto a roller. And for doors in cool stores that are opened and closed hundreds of times a day, such problems are significant. The present roller door blade solves or minimizes the problems by fitting longitudinal spacer elements along the length of the door which act to provide space between adjacent layers of the door blade as it accumulates on the roller, allowing any wind bars of the door blade to be stowed on the roller without interfering or clashing with other wind bars. 1.
