A support arrangement for use on a ladder 1 for supporting a paint container, for example, comprises an upper rung engaging member 5 which hooks around an upper rung 3 and which is adjustably engaged with a main member 10. The main member 10 may have an inwardly bent portion 11 which grips a lower rung 4 of the ladder. A tubular member 6 is attached to the main member 10 and is disposed at substantially 90‹ thereto. A rod 7, having hooks 8 and 9 for suspending paint containers disposed at each end thereof is slidably located within the tube 6. ATTACHMENT FOR LADDERS OR THE LIKE An attachment is disclosed for use with a ladder to prevent marring of the wall surface or the like by the upper ends of side members of the ladder. Preferably, the attachment is of the type of a box having its bottom spaced from the lower margin of the side and end walls and so arranged that it can be placed over the top of an extension ladder or the like. Elastic securement means constantly pull the box downwards, to one of the upper rungs of the ladder. That wall of the box, which normally faces the wall against which the ladder is to rest, is provided with a resilient cushion such as a rubber-like padding or the like. The box is convenient to store, easy to attach to a ladder and inexpensive to produce. Besides, it provides secondary function as a tray for tools or the like capable of being suspended at a mid-level of the ladder if required.

Personnel elevating apparatus comprises a support platform supportable above ground level on leg frames pivoted to the platform. Side guard rails extend upwardly therefrom in an erected position. The tray or tray assembly can be built with a bracket that opposed diverging channels that engage diverging struts on the ladder so as to support the tray and its contents. As a result, the tray is vertically positioned within the footprint of the ladder, providing a convenient, stable, and safe arrangement by which the user may attend to the task at hand.

Paint Can Securing Apparatus for Use with a Ladder

A paint can support box adapted to surround and selectively seal a paint can. A hinged top with a seal is affixed to the box and is movable between an open and a closed position. A mounting system attaches the box to rungs of a ladder. A retaining pin prevents the mounting system from inadvertently becoming detached from the ladder rungs. The box is swivelably attached to the mounting system so that the box remains level regardless of the lean angle of the ladder. The box and its contents may be left on the ladder when the ladder is moved to a new location without risk of paint spilling or the apparatus becoming detached from the ladder. Caulk tubes may also be stored and retained within the box. Multiple size paint cans (e.g. gallon, quart, etc.) may be securely accommodated and sealed with appropriate can adapters.

A ladder tool is disclosed and is useful for supporting tools safely, including tools with hoses or cords attached to them. Disclosed embodiments include a support for inserting into a hollow ladder rung, and a tool holder attached to the support structure. The tool holder has an incomplete polygonal shape and provides an opening for the hose or cord to enter and exit the tool holder, so that the operation of passing the hose or cord through the opening can be performed with one hand. Low-Profile Fly Arm Step Ladder

A low-profile fly arm step ladder has a pair of first ladder legs with steps and a pair of second ladder legs. Bracket arrangements are mounted to upper ends of the first ladder legs. Each second ladder leg is mounted in a portion of a respective bracket arrangement. A fly arm assembly is provided that has two ends on one side. Each end is mounted with a portion of the bracket arrangement of a respective first ladder leg. A ladder clip is taught that allows for the secure support of paint cans, brushes, and other tools from a ladder. The device consists of a platform, having vanes that secure the platform in place in the hollows of ladder rungs. Tools are hung from the platform extension that extends beyond the opening of the rungs. To remove the ladder clip, one simply pulls on the tab that extends from the vanes to the extension, and the vanes fold down, allowing for easy removal.
