A fluid pump may include an electric motor having an output shaft driven for rotation about an axis and a pump assembly coupled to the output shaft. The pump assembly has a first cap and a second cap with at least one pumping channel defined between the first and second caps, and an impeller between the first and second caps. The impeller is driven for rotation by the output shaft of the motor and includes a plurality of vanes in communication with the at least one pumping channel. Each vane has a root segment and a tip segment and a line from a base of the root segment to an outer edge of the tip segment trails a line extending from the axis of rotation to the base of the root segment by an angle of between 0° and 30° relative to the direction of rotation of the impeller.

Connected to the suspension inlet (12) end of the shaft is a hollow boat-type propeller (24) which urges suspension directly to the impeller blades (19, 20). The propeller (24) is disposed in a vessel (30) having an enlarged cross-section with respect to the pump housing (11), and anti-rotation vanes (33, 34) are placed about the propeller in the vessel to prevent rotation of the suspension, so that it is fed by the propeller towards the blades (18).

Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es bei einer gattungsgemäßen Kreiselpumpe für eine Zentrierung des Pumpenlaufrads und für eine Dämpfung von Schwingungen zu sorgen, welche vom Pumpenlaufrad auf den Pumpenkopf und damit das Gehäuse der Kreiselpumpe übertragen werden, wodurch unangenehme Geräusche weitgehend vermieden werden sollen. The inlet port (6) of the centrifugal pump has a section which narrows in the direction towards the impeller (1). The impeller is open, at least on the inlet port side. The narrowing section ends in a circular edge which is positioned at a distance (l) upstream of the impeller (1). Downstream of this edge, the inlet port does not narrow any further. TWO STAGE MEDIUM CONSISTENCY PULP PUMPING ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A centrifugal pump for pumping suspensions having a consistency of about 6-20% (for example, for pumping paper pulp) has a second stage for increasing head. An auxiliary impeller is connected to the drive shaft in front of the main impeller, and upon rotation of the drive shaft directs the suspension being pumped axially into association with the main impeller. Mounted between the pump inlet and the auxiliary impeller are a plurality of stationary guide vanes, and mounted on the opposite side of the guide vanes from the auxiliary impeller are a plurality of pre-fluidizing vanes which are also connected to the drive shaft. The stationary guide vanes remove extreme pre-rotation of the suspension ahead of the auxiliary impeller, and change the turbulent and chaotic condition of the suspension into a directional flow at a definite angle of entrance. Utilizing the pump of the invention, there is no need to provide a vacuum system in order for the pump to operate properly.

The locking tabs are adapted so that the interlocking enables secure attachment of the support plate to the pump housing.

本发明涉及排水泵。本发明的目的是在排水泵中,使圆筒状的吸入口(12)进入到接露盘内,通过使吸入口(12)内的小叶片(22)旋转而将水吸入到吸入口(12)内,从而防止空气的吸入而确保静音化。本发明的排水泵的结构为,在吸入口(12)的内部的中途设有使内径缩小的小直径部(12a)。小直径部(12a)的位置为,从小叶片(22)的下端部(221)起在小叶片(22)的全长的30%~50%的位置。通过利用小直径部(12a)缩小吸入口(12)与小叶片(22)的间隙,从而控制水量,在平衡时也能确保接露盘内的水位而防止空气的进入。利用由小直径部(12a)形成的逆流还防止了沉渣的附着。

The invention relates to a prewhirl type inlet casing for inducing a spiral stream in fluid comprising a suction passage (2) arranged on an upstream side, being orthogonal to a rotary shaft (1) of fluid machinery, and an internal passage (4) connected to the suction passage (2), the internal passage (4) being formed in a spiral shape so as to induce a swirl stream orthogonal to the rotary shaft (1) in the fluid. A guide vane (12) is provided in the fluid passage in the inlet casing. The guide vane (12) has a rectifying function capable of distributing flow rates in the swirl stream of the fluid in the internal passage (4) between the swirl center side and the swirl outer peripheral side and has a rectifying function capable of causing the fluid to deflect into the swirling direction of the swirl stream induced by the internal passage (4). With these rectifying functions, a rectified swirl stream can be easily created in the internal passage (4) so as to prevent occurrence of a deviation of a cavitations inducing zone. With this configuration, it is possible to effectively prevent occurrence of the deviation of the cavitations inducing zone in order to aim at simplifying the configuration of the internal passage (4).

A turbo machine comprising: an impeller having a plurality of blades therewith; a casing having a flow surface defined therein and being positioned with the impeller therein; and a plurality of grooves being formed in the flow surface of the casing, for connecting between an inlet side of said impeller and an area on the flow surface of the casing in which the blades of said impeller reside, on a periphery thereof, wherein an index of determining a form of the grooves is obtained by a following equation: JE No. = WR × VR × WDR × DLDR    where, WR (a width ratio) is a value obtained by dividing a total value of the groove widths W with a length of casing periphery; VR (a volume ratio) is a value obtained by dividing a total volume of said grooves with a volume of said impeller; WDR (a width-depth ratio) is a value obtained by dividing the width W of said groove with a depth D of said groove; and DLDR is a ratio between a length of said groove in flow, being lower than the impeller inlet and the depth of said groove, and wherein, said grooves are formed so that the index JE No. lies in a range from 0.03 to 0.5.
