The bottom sediment and water bowl has a conically shaped bottom to direct fluid to a drain valve, and an indicator located on an upper tip of the drain valve. A method of manufacturing a thermo valve includes an overlaying step of overlaying a valve body onto a thermo actuator so as to cover a groove portion; and a caulking step of caulking an installing portion of the valve body onto the thermo actuator. The caulking step is performed by pressing, by use of a jig, the valve body and the thermo actuator toward an axis center in a radial direction. A pressing face of the jig has a short side portion and a long side portion longer than the short side portion. Pressing is performed with the long side portion being substantially in parallel to the axis center of the thermo actuator and the short side portion being substantially in parallel to the groove portion. 1. A flow path insert for a fluid control assembly includes an upstream portion and a downstream portion integral with the upstream portion. The upstream portion includes an upstream peripheral surface and the downstream portion includes a downstream peripheral surface. The upstream portion and the downstream portion cooperate to define an inlet passage and an outlet passage in fluid communication with the inlet passage. The inlet passage defines a first axis and the outlet passage defines a second axis that is transverse to the first axis. Disclosed herein is an improved needle valve, where, in some preferred embodiments, the needle valve includes a stem having a ball linkage and a seat having a ball linkage housing. The ball linkage can be snap-fit to the seat, and the ball linkage and ball linkage housing cooperate to form a ball-and-socket joint. In some embodiments, an axis is formed at least in part by the stem, and the ball-and- socket joint allows rotation of the seat about the axis and inhibits rotation of the seat about another axis. A gap may be provided between the seat and the stem to accommodate deformation of the seat. Also disclosed herein is an improved needle valve, where, in some preferred embodiments, a stem and a handle are provided with mating geometry and a biased snap-fit mechanism to facilitate ease of assembly.
