The present invention relates to a water valve. More particularly, the present invention relates to a water valve having a valve cartridge for controlling the temperature and flow of supplied hot/cold water, wherein a discharge path is blocked, or a direct water path or a shower path is selected and the amount of water flow is controlled, by changing the direction of rotation in a flow control section. The present invention can exert various functions through a simple structure and operation, as the water valve can be turned on or off, a direct water path or a shower path can be selected, and the flow of the selected path can be controlled, through manipulation of a flow control unit. In addition, the present invention has a simple structure and is easily installed by combining a water valve and a nozzle head.

A mixer faucet includes a faucet fixed to a fixing board in a wall and a temperature control valve is connected to the temperature control valve seat. Two check valves are connected to the check valve seats of the cold and hot water paths of the faucet. An indication board is connected to the faucet and seals an installation hole in the wall. The indication board has two access holes which are located corresponding to the check valves. The check valve seats each have a reception recess and the two respective reception recesses are oriented inclinedly and outward. A water inlet is defined between each of the reception recesses and an installation recess of each of the temperature control valve seats. The faucet can be made by way of forging and machined after being forged. The maintenance to the check valves is convenient.

We will describe a fluid control valve comprising a valve body having an inlet, for operative connection to a supply of pressurised fluid, and an outlet and defining a fluid flow path therebetween. A first valve is adjustable under the control of a first valve actuator between a first, or closed, position in which flow of fluid through the first valve is prevented and a second, or open, position in which flow of fluid through the first valve is permitted. A showerhead configured to receive a supply of cold water and a supply of hot water , the showerhead comprising:a body; a first actuator for controlling a first flow control valve within the mixing valve; and', 'a second actuator for controlling a second flow control valve within the mixing valve; and, 'a mixing valve within the body comprisinga controller on or within the body and configured to send a control signal to control actuation of the first actuator and the second actuator.3. The showerhead of claim 2 , wherein the controller is located within the body and includes a microprocessor mounted on a control panel.4. The showerhead of claim 3 , further comprising a heating element located within the body for heating at least a portion of the mixing valve to a disinfection temperature.5. The showerhead of claim 4 , wherein the controller is programmable and includes a memory for storing different settings of at least one of a temperature and a flow rate of outlet water that are inputted through a user interface.6. A set of universal switching modules is provided for mechanical touch faucets. The switching modules afford the same operational benefits and features as an electronic faucet without the necessity of resort to an electrical power supply, eliminating the need for electronic control circuitry, and simplifying installation while increasing long term operational reliability. The switching modules are activated by a linear depressing or a rocking motion that contrasts with rotary motions associated with rotating a valve stem.
