Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schalldämpfervorrichtung (12) für eine Druckreduktionsvorrichtung (10) einer Tankanlage, wobei die Schalldämpfervorrichtung (12) eine Einlassöffnung aufweist, welche dazu eingerichtet ist, mit einem Auslassventil (16) der Tankanlage verbunden zu werden, und zumindest ein Schalldämpferelement, welches sich zwischen der Einlassöffnung und einer Auslassöffnung (24) der Schalldämpfervorrichtung (12) erstreckt und dazu eingerichtet ist, einen Schalldruck eines von der Einlassöffnung zu der Auslassöffnung (24) strömenden Fluides zu reduzieren. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner eine Druckreduktionsvorrichtung (10) mit einer Schalldämpfervorrichtung (12), sowie eine Tankanlage mit einer erfindungsgemäßen Druckreduktionsvorrichtung (10).

The base of the inner sleeve (4) may be of lead, and acts as a barrier when the aluminium tube is forced against it by the force of an explosion.
