In one embodiment, the system can be positioned at a production facility on the Earth, the Moon, Mars, or an asteroid.

In certain embodiments, a solar energy storage device can include one or more layers of photoswitchable moieties associated with a polymer. The present invention relates to an optical system that allows an image to be displayed on the surface of a solar panel without this image forming an obstacle to direct solar rays. It consists of a solar panel (SP), a lenticular surface (LS) formed from linear lenses, and a transparent film (F) on which an image (I), the straight bands (BT) of which, parallel to the longitudinal axis (X) of the lenses, have been removed, is printed. At certain viewing angles, an observer (OB) can see only the image bands (BN), whereas at other angles of incidence the sun’s rays will pass through the transparent bands (BT) and reach the active surface of the solar sensor. The present invention is particularly suitable for aesthetic and architectural integration of solar panels, and for disseminating visual information on the surface thereof.

Each heat storage tube (18.5) is formed of a metal tube (18.5.1) having a mesh and an adsorbent layer (18.5.2) attached to a surface of the metal tube (18.5.1) having the mesh, and is used for heat storage. An adsorbent material in the adsorbent layer (18.5.2) is a molecular sieve adsorbent material capable of pairing with water to act as a working medium pair. The system makes full use of solar energy as a supplementary fuel of the power plant boiler (1), normal operation of the boiler (1) is not affected by instability, intermittency, etc. of the solar energy, and power plant costs are significantly reduced.

A controller is communicatively coupled to the at least one doubly fed induction generator for maintaining a constant electrical output and frequency. Depending upon the electrical output load, the doubly fed induction generator can operate in varying speeds to achieve efficiency. To enhance the expansion of the gas, the turbine generator system can further include a pre-heater for preheating the gas to be heated and expanded by the heat exchanger.

The hybrid system enables the use of evaporative cooling in regions having high humidity.
