A firearm sight rectifier comprises a universal laser beam producing unit and a caliber adaptor. The universal laser beam producing unit has an outer casing, and the caliber adaptor has a sleeve with an outer surface and an inner cavity to receive the universal laser beam producing unit. The outer surface of the sleeve of the caliber adaptor has a diameter corresponding to the diameter of a cartridge of given caliber. The universal laser beam producing unit comprises a laser module for producing a laser beam, a series of batteries for supplying the laser module with electric energy, and an electric depression button for replacing the primer of a standard cartridge. In operation, the release of the firepin of the firearm will operate the depression button of the universal laser beam producing unit to connect the series of batteries to the laser module and thereby energize the laser module and produce the laser beam. The universal laser beam producing unit may also be screwed on to a barrel adaptor shaft which in tum is inserted in the barrel of a firearm. Twisting the universal laser beam producing unit on the barrel adaptor shaft connects the series of batteries to the laser module and thereby energizes the laser module and produces the laser beam.

A compensation offset profile and a compensation angle profile are stored in a weapon controller card in the simulated weapon identifying the misalignment of the laser module in the corresponding simulated weapon. The compensation offset profile and compensation angle profile is transmitted from the weapon controller card to a central computer, where the central computer calculates the aim point of the simulated weapon using said compensation offset profile and said compensation angle profile from said weapon controller card. The tool may be used to secure dovetail mount-type scope rings to the firearm by securing the tool within each ring separately, and torqueing the tool to secure each ring in sequence. Alignment of rings of any mounting configuration with the barrel bore is checked by securing the tool within both rings and checking alignment of the beveled conical rear and the tapered front tip of the tool, respectively, with the receiver tang and the barrel of the firearm. The tool may be manufactured with an outside diameter dimensioned and configured to fit different inside diameter rings. A boresighter/trainer fits into a distal end of a gun barrel and includes a sound sensor, a circuit, a laser, and a power source. The boresighter/trainer has at least two operational modes: one in which it continuously emits laser light and one in which it emits laser light for a short duration when the sound of a firing pin is detected. When in its first mode, the boresighter/trainer permits laser light to be projected along the longitudinal axis of a gun barrel in which it is portioned, for the purpose of aligning a sight on the firearm. When the boresighter/trainer is in its second mode and the firing pin of the gun is activated, the sound of the firing pin is detected by the sound sensor and activates a circuit in the boresighter/trainer to cause the light source to emit light along the longitudinal axis of the firearm barrel. The boresighter/trainer may have multiple bore adapters that fit different firearm bore diameters. 1. A system and method for scope leveling. The scope has a scope body. The scope body has a leveling indicator. In one example, the leveling indicator is an engraved line which extends longitudinally along the length of the scope. The scope is manipulated such that the leveling indicator is properly aligned relative to a mount. The system and method results in a level scope which reduces canted angles and increases accuracy. 1. A scope comprising:a scope body connecting two lenses on opposing ends;a leveling indicator located on said scope body;wherein the leveling indicator does not comprise any moving partswherein said scope body is cylindrical; andwherein said leveling indicator comprises a horizontal line extending at least a portion of a length of said scope body.2. A system and method for removing and reinstating a sight of a weapon without changing a boresight is disclosed. A reference optical device is installed on a rail of the weapon and then the sight is installed on the rail. An attitude determination unit determines a change in attitude of the sight with respect to the boresight. The aim point of the weapon in the sight is compensated accordingly based on the change in attitude without changing the boresight by utilizing a compensation module. This allows retaining the boresight even when the weapon sight is removed and reinstalled. Thus weapon sight can be mounted anywhere on a weapon without the need to boresight the weapon.

A device for aligning a telescopic sight includes two opposing reference cards connected to each other within a common plane by a connecting bar and a level indicator on a surface of at least one card. The alignment device is attached to the front or rear scope base of a firearm, so that the front surfaces of two opposing reference cards appear on either side of the reticle. Once the alignment device is secured to the scope base of the firearm, the reticle may be aligned with the bore axis by rotating the telescopic sight until the horizontal cross hair is parallel with any corresponding pair of reference lines of the reference cards. The alignment device can also include an adapter that allows the alignment device to be mounted to a firearm by coupling to a corresponding slot of a mounting platform.

An alignment device for alignment of a weapon and a weapon simulator mounted on the weapon. The weapon is provided with a sight and the weapon simulator is equipped with a first device arranged to emit an electromagnetic simulator beam exiting along a simulator axis. The alignment apparatus includes a second device arranged to generate an alignment beam along an alignment axis. The angle between the simulator axis and the alignment axis is fixed and known. A reflection device is arranged to reflect the alignment beam into the sight. An adjuster is arranged to collectively guide the alignment axis and the simulator axis during the alignment of the simulator axis with the sight so that the axes during the alignment maintain the fixed relative angular relationship.

A method of aligning a point of aim with a point of impact for a projectile device is disclosed. Using a superposition device coupled to the projectile device, at least one reference point is superposed within a first target area with at least one beam of the superposition device. A position for at least one of the reference points is noted. A projectile is shot from the projectile device at a second target area, while the position of the at least one reference point is maintained, to create the point of impact. The point of aim for the projectile device is adjusted to correspond with the point of impact while the position of the at least one reference points is maintained.
