A security fog system comprises a fog generator 14 having an opening from which a fog-forming stream is expressed when the fog generator is activated via an alarm system 12, and control 16. The grenade contains a bimetallic powder in finely divided form, and an inert gas under pressure. When the projectile explodes on the ground near to the vehicle the powder is dispersed under the effect of the gas pressure. A part of the powder is drawn into the air inlet of the vehicle and is drawn through the air filter and thus reaches the combustion chambers of the engine. Within the engine the bi-metallic powder prevents the correct formation of sparks by the ignition plugs and hence the engine is stopped and the vehicle is stopped.

In other embodiments, the invention contains physical destruction devices such as projectiles, explosives, spikes, electric shock generators, etc. The invention is manipulated to track, intercept, capture, disrupt, disable and/or move a target unmanned aerial vehicle. In certain embodiments, the invention includes materials able to contain, at least in part, hazardous materials and/or conditions caused by the target unmanned aerial vehicle. In certain embodiments, the invention interfaces with external unmanned aerial vehicle detection/tracking systems. A unique design element in certain embodiments is the ability to limit the potential of the captured aerial vehicle escaping the device and/or falling to the ground. Another unique design element in certain embodiments is the ability of the invention to limit collateral damage caused by the captured unmanned aerial vehicle or apparatuses contained thereon. A manifold is connected to the engine exhaust to cause the exhaust gases to turn at least 90*, and pass through a pipe to be discharged in the outlet opening of the blower. The liquid to be produced as a fog is drawn or injected into the manifold, and is vaporized by the hot exhaust gases. This vapor is discharged or drawn from the pipe by the air blown by the blower and further atomized to efficiently produce a dense, voluminous fog containing air, the vaporized and atomized liquid material, and the engine exhaust gases.

High temperature incendiary (HTI) devices and methods destroy biological and/or chemical agents. Preferably, such HTI devices include dual modal propellant compositions having low bum rate propellant particles dispersed in a matrix of a high burn rate propellant. Most preferably, the HTI device includes a casing which contains the dual modal propellant and a nozzle through which combustion gases generated by the ignited high burn rate propellant may be discharged thereby entraining ignited particles of the low burn rate propellant. In use, therefore, the high burn rate propellant will be ignited using a conventional igniter thereby generating combustion gases which are expelled through the nozzle of the HTI device. As the ignition face of the propellant composition regresses, the low burn rate particles will similarly become ignited. Since the low burn rate particles burn at a lesser rate as compared to the high burn rate propellant in which such particles are dispersed, the ignited particles per se will be expelled through the nozzle and will therefore continue to burn in the ambient environment. Such continued burning of the particles will thereby be sufficient to destroy chemical and/or biological agents that may be present in the ambient environment.

Methods for cooling a fire suppressant gas and methods for suppressing a fire include flowing a fire suppressant gas into first and second chambers of a cooling system, flowing a coolant material from the first chamber into the second chamber, and contacting the fire suppressant gas with the coolant material to cool the fire suppressant gas.
