The method includes: aligning the color measurement device and the light source so that the light source images on a center area of the light detector; deriving a detected color value for the light source based on the light detected by the center area when the light source images thereon; deriving a color calibration coefficient based on the detected color value and the known color value of the light source; and deriving a color and flat-field calibration array for the color measurement device by multiplying each entry of a flat-field calibration array of the color measurement device by the color calibration coefficient.

Provided are a portable Agtron number analyzer and a method of analyzing an Agtron number. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method of analyzing an Agtron number comprises: a step (a) of obtaining training data for an R (Red) value by class based on captured images of coffee beans of which the Agtron numbers are known; a step (b) of determining class boundary values dividing each class based on the training data; a step (c) of obtaining R values of the coffee beans which are objects to be measured; and a step (d) of determining the Agtron numbers of the coffee beans by comparing the obtained R values of the coffee beans with the class boundary values. Therefore, the method of analyzing an Agtron number can accurately measure the Agtron numbers of the coffee beans without grinding coffee beans and have high accessibility by having a simple configuration and being conveniently used by everyone, thereby providing a better automated system and providing accurate expert-grade Agtron numbers of coffee beans for home baristas.

On the other hand, when an abnormal sample is perceived, the difference ΔR′−b of the sample obtained from the specified equations is determined and, by comparison of the difference between the target color and a color of a toning sample in the color matching process, components such as a coloring agent mixed into the abnormal sample is presumed and its mixed amount is presumed.
