The present invention seeks to decrease the number of pixel defects in an IPS liquid crystal display device. A gate electrode is formed on a TFT substrate, while a gate insulating film is overlaid on the gate electrode. A pixel electrode which is divided into segments is formed on the gate insulating film. The segments of the pixel electrode are normally interconnected by a source electrode. An inter-layer insulating film, on which a common electrode including slits is formed, is overlaid on the pixel electrode. In a case where the common electrode and one of the segments of the pixel electrode are conductively interconnected by a conductive foreign substance, the other segments of the pixel electrode are allowed to operate by disconnecting the conducted segment of the pixel electrode from the source electrode. Thus, one pixel is prevented from lapsing into a full pixel defect.

A second metal film is deposited and patterned. A second transparent conductive film is deposited and a lift-off process is performed. And then, a pattern of a source electrode, a drain electrode, a TFT channel and a pixel electrode ( 4 ) is formed by etching the exposed second metal film and the doped semiconductor film.

Embodiments of the present invention provide for a FFS TFT LCD with a high refresh rate without limiting the aperture of individual pixels. More specifically, embodiments of the invention provide for the use of common bus lines to reduce the effective resistance of the common electrode and to therefore allow for higher refresh rates of the display. Furthermore, the common bus lines can be positioned in such a manner so that they do not further reduce the aperture of the display. More specifically, the common bus lines can be positioned above or below existing elements of the display that are already opaque. Thus, adding the common bus lines need not reduce the aperture. The above can be achieved by, for example, placing the common bus lines above or below existing non-transparent lines, such as gate lines or data lines.

A pixel unit, a pixel structure, a display apparatus and a pixel driving method can solve the problem that it is necessary to change polarity of voltage for each of data signals input to respective data lines and thus a power consumption is large in the prior art. In the pixel unit of the disclosure, the positions of the pixel electrode and the common electrode in two adjacent pixels in a pixel unit adopting the dual gate technique are exchanged. The pixel structure is constituted by an array formed by the pixel units. When applying the pixel driving method to the pixel structure to achieve a pixel dot-inversion or a pixel column-inversion, there is no need for changing the polarities of voltages of data signals input to respective data lines, and thus the power consumption is reduced.

With the technical solution of the present invention, a voltage difference is generated respectively between these two common electrodes and the pixel electrode after the voltage is applied, thus making the liquid crystal between the lower and upper substrates achieve a better alignment effect, reducing the display defects and improving the display effect.

Due to the fact that the surfaces of a source electrode, a drain electrode and a data line which are arranged on the same layer are provided with an oxide film which is formed after annealing treatment is conducted on the source electrode, the drain electrode and the data line, in the process that the pattern of a pixel electrode is formed on the source electrode, the drain electrode and the data line by the adoption of a composition technology, the oxide film can protect the source electrode and the data line under the oxide film from being corroded by an etching agent when the pattern of the pixel electrode is formed by etching, and the display quality of a display panel will not be affected; meanwhile, a connecting portion enables the drain electrode to be electrically connected with the pixel electrode through a first via hole arranged over the drain electrode and penetrating through the oxide film, therefore the normal display function of the display panel can be ensured.

The structure if the invention is as follows: A liquid crystal display device comprising: scanning lines extending in a first direction and arranged in a second direction, video signal lines arranged to cross the scanning lines, a pixel area is surrounded by the scanning lines and the video signal lines, a pixel electrode is formed in the pixel area, wherein conductive wirings are formed over the video signal lines via an organic insulating film in a plan view in the display area where images are displayed, a width in the first direction of the conductive wiring is bigger than a width in the first direction of the video signal line, an amount that the conductive wiring protrude the video signal line in a plan view is essentially the same in both side of the video signal line.

An array substrate and a liquid crystal display panel thereof. The array substrate includes a substrate having a plurality of pixel regions arranged in an array. Each of the pixel regions ( 120 a ) includes: a first electrode, a second electrode, an insulation protrusion, and a reflection electrode. An electric field is fit to form between the second electrode and the first electrode, and an electric field is also fit to form between the reflection electrode and the second electrode. The second electrode includes a slit electrode, which includes a plurality of slit portions and a plurality of electrode portions each arranged between adjacent slit portions. The electrode portion at least includes a first strip-shaped portion and a second strip-shaped portion. An extension direction of the first strip-shaped portion intersects with that of the second strip-shaped portion, and the first strip and second strip-shaped portions of each electrode portion are connected at a corresponding bending portion. For orthographic projections in a plane where the substrate is located, bending portions of the second electrode and the reflection electrode are located within the insulation protrusion.

A method for manufacturing an array substrate includes: providing a base substrate; forming gate lines and data lines intercrossing each other, the gate lines and the data lines define multiple pixel units. Multiple pixel regions are formed in each pixel unit, a display electrode having a slit is formed in each pixel region. Each data line includes multiple data line segments. In each pixel unit, each of a part of the pixel regions has a display electrode whose slit is parallel to a data line segment adjacent to this pixel region; each of another part of the pixel regions has a display electrode whose slit is non-parallel to a data line segment adjacent to this pixel region. The display electrodes in each of the pixel units are located at a same side of the gate line to which the pixel unit where the display electrodes are located is coupled.
