A machine is presented for the cleaning of jewelry. The machine allows the manual or automatic cleaning of jewelry. Under both modes of operation, the jewelry is secured by a user to a support bracket inside a transparent, water-tight cylindrical wash chamber. When in manual mode, the user can direct the spray of wash fluid onto the jewelry by rotating the jewelry using a trackball. When used in automatic mode, the machine washes the jewelry during a preset washing cycle. For both modes, the washing cycle is followed by the drying cycle where a blower directs air onto the jewelry for a set time period to blow off excess moisture. The drying cycle concludes with a blower venting the cylindrical wash chamber to remove residual moisture from the wash chamber and the jewelry. After the cleaning, the user removes the jewelry from the machine.

The invention relates to a method for bonding timepiece components, comprising applying an adhesive to a first and/or second timepiece component to be bonded to one another, and depositing an adhesion layer onto at least one of the first and second components to be bonded by spraying a primer composition in a localised joining area followed by the solidification of the primer composition. The adhesion layer is deposited prior to the application of the adhesive if the adhesive is applied to the one or more same components as the adhesion layer.

The method for test the rate of an electronic watch with a time base device () comprises three main steps for the test on test equipment. Disclosed is a method for identifying a timepiece including a first component, e.g. the movement, and a second component, e.g. the case. A first zone of the first component of the timepiece is photographed with sufficient enlargement to show therein the tracks and flaws in or on the substrate of the first component in this first zone resulting from the process of manufacturing the timepiece and in particular the tracks or flaws produced when the second component is fitted into the first component. An identification mark (label, chemical or physical modification of the substrate) is applied to a second zone of the second component of the timepiece. These tracks or flaws are converted into a unique code by an appropriate algorithm and this code is associated with at least one item of information contained in the identification mark to form a unique and complete identifier of the item. 1.
