A controlling device mounted on the portable type terminal device may create print data for causing a printer to perform a first type of a print in both of a first case where a print of the specific image is instructed in the first state and a second case where the print of the specific image is instructed in the second state. In the first type of the print, the left-right direction of the specific image may be along a short side of a print medium.

The present invention relates to display devices, and more particularly to an optical sensing frame in which an infrared sensor module is fastened to a case top with a bracket to secure an assembly margin and prevent the infrared sensor module from mismatching with a liquid crystal display module by relative movement; and a display device therewith, the optical sensing frame includes a case top having a frame shaped upper side, and sides bent and extended from four sides of the upper side perpendicular thereto, first to third brackets fastened to an inside of the upper side of the case top at three corners thereof respectively, and an infrared sensor module placed in each of the first to third brackets.

A low profile display enclosure system for enclosing a display device for viewing that protects the display device from environmental effects. The substantially sealed display enclosure comprises a rigid bezel, a substantially transparent front cover coupled to the bezel, and a rear cover assembly that may include a heat sink portion. A liquid organic coating is applied to portions of the display enclosure and cured in place in order to provide a protective surface.

Relative displacement device with both slight push force and strong elastic pull force

A relative displacement device with both slight push force and strong elastic pull force includes two displacement members displaceable relative to each other. The displacement members are respectively formed with two turning displacement paths, which turn from a relative displacement direction in different directions. During displacement travel of the displacement members, the turning displacement paths intersect each other at different points as elastic pull points. Each turning displacement path has two path terminals and a turning point. The displacement reference line of the path terminals of one turning displacement path coincides with the displacement reference line of the turning point of the other turning displacement path. A first end of an elastic member is slidably pivotally positioned at the elastic pull point as an elastic pull end, while a second end of the elastic member is pivotally fixed at a fixed point of one displacement member as a fixed end.

Mobile phone apparatus

A mobile phone apparatus has a first case, a second case and a third case each taking the shape of a planar rectangle. Activating Applications Based on Accelerometer Data

In some implementations, a computer-implemented method includes storing a plurality of acceleration profiles in a mobile device; receiving accelerometer data from an accelerometer in the mobile device; correlating the accelerometer data with one accelerometer profile in the plurality of accelerometer profiles; and activating a user application of the mobile device that is associated with the correlated accelerometer profile. Each acceleration profile can correspond to a sequence of acceleration forces a mobile device would be subjected to when carried with a user during an activity that corresponds to the correlated acceleration profile.

Housing and method for making the same

A housing includes a bottom housing and a top housing. The bottom housing includes a connecting surface. The top housing includes a bottom surface. The connecting surface is fixed to the bottom surface by welding. A receiving groove is defined in the bottom surface, for receiving the molten slag generated and collected during a welding process.

A display device includes a rear set cover, an upper end guide frame, a lower end guide frame, a panel, a first adhesive member, a second adhesive member, a panel driver, and a lower finishing material. The upper end guide frame is secured to an upper end portion inside the rear set cover, and coupled to the rear set cover. The lower end guide frame is secured to a lower end portion inside the rear set cover, and coupled to the rear set cover. The panel is secured to the upper end guide frame and lower end guide frame. Computer with door-mounted electronics

A computer includes various features that improve its functionality and/or ease of use. A modular electronics cartridge that includes a piston seal and opposed-direction latches removably engages a cartridge bay of the computer. A high intensity touch-screen display and a high power processor are disposed in a sealed compartment of the computer, and a remote heat exchanger is used to cool the sealed compartment. An interface converter/adapter converts a standard mini-PCI Express slot into a specialized mini-PCI Express slot with voice capabilities. SIM and microSD card slots mount to a pivoting door on the computer such that opening the door provides easier access to the card slots.

Electronic Device and Flexible Printed Wiring Board

According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a housing and a flexible printed wiring board at least part of which is housed in the housing. The flexible printed wiring board includes a base layer, a first layer, and a second layer. The base layer includes a first surface provided with a conductor pattern. The first layer covers the first surface and the conductor pattern such that the first surface and the conductor pattern are exposed at an edge portion of the base layer. The second layer covers a second surface of the edge portion of the base layer. A first edge of the first layer and a second edge of the second layer are provided with a convex-concave shape that is convex or concave along the first surface or the second surface of the base layer. The first edge is located on the edge portion side, and the second edge is located on the back of the first edge.

Projection device having display control function and method thereof

A projection device having a display control function is provided. The projection device includes a document unit, a display unit, a lens module and a sensor unit. The sense unit senses distance and direction of movement of the projection device. The document unit scrolls through content of an opened document according the distance and direction of the sensed movement of the projection device from the sensor unit to select the content to be displayed, and control display of the selected content of a currently opened document on the display unit. The lens module projects the selected content currently displayed by the display unit. A method with a display control function is also provided.

Device support system and support device

A terminal device 7 includes a housing 50 , and a first terminal (charging terminal). The housing 50 is generally plate-shaped and includes an engagement hole formed therein. The first terminal is provided on a surface (bottom surface) of the housing 50 on which the engagement hole is formed. A stand 210 , which is a support device, includes a support member 211 , a second terminal (charging terminal) 212 , and guide members 213 a and 213 b which are rotating members. The second terminal 212 can be connected to a terminal of the terminal device 7 . The support member 211 supports a predetermined surface (back surface) of the housing 50 when the first terminal and the second terminal 212 are connected to each other. Each of the guide members 213 a and 213 b can rotate in a predetermined direction and is provided at such a position that it is inserted into the engagement hole when the first terminal and the second terminal 212 are connected to each other.

Tablet Computer Case and Associated Methods

Tablet computer cases and associated methods are disclosed and described. In one embodiment, a tablet computer case may include a first panel configured to releasably engage and hold a tablet computer of a predetermined size and shape, a second panel having a keyboard a hinge rotatably attaching the two panels, and a communication connector that allows the keyboard to communicate with the tablet computer.

In one embodiment, a tablet computer case may include a first panel configured to releasably engage and hold a tablet computer of a predetermined size and shape, a second panel having a keyboard a hinge rotatably attaching the two panels, and a communication connector that allows the keyboard to communicate with the tablet computer.

User device

The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a user device, which includes a main body part, a movable part electrically connected with the main body part, and a switching control unit and a rotation driver unit for co-axially connecting the main body part with the movable part. The switching control unit is used for eliminating a friction that enables the main body part to be fixed relative to the movable part fixed to turn on a rotation mode of the movable part. The rotation driver unit is used for applying a pre-pressing elastic force to the movable part when the switching control unit turns on the rotation mode of the movable part, so as to enable the movable part to automatically rotate relative to the main body part. The pre-pressing elastic force is less than the friction.

Portable electronic device

A portable electronic device capable of signal or power transmission and standing on a surface in a vertical or near-vertical orientation at the same time is provided in the present invention. The portable electronic device includes a flat body having a front surface, a rear surface opposite to the front surface, and a through hole passing through the flat body, and the through hole extending from the front surface to the rear surface. Herein the through hole is adapted to couple with an external docking element for signal or power transmission. Thus, the portable electronic device is capable of signal or power transmission and standing on the supporting surface at the same time via the external docking element coupling with the through hole.

Texture Identification

Technologies are generally described for determining a texture of an object. In some examples, a method for determining a texture of an object includes receiving a two-dimensional image representative of a surface of the object, estimating a three-dimensional (3D) projection of the image, transforming the 3D projection into a frequency domain, projecting the 3D projection in the frequency domain onto a spherical co-ordinate system, and determining the texture of the surface by analyzing spectral signatures extracted from the 3D projection on the spherical co-ordinate system.
