Using the contextual metadata, an interpolated language model is generated based on contributions from the base language models. The contributions are weighted according to a weighting for each of the base language models. The interpolated language model is used to convert the received voice input to a textual output. The voice input is received at a computer server system that is remote to the electronic device. The textual output is transmitted to the electronic device.

The flexible I/O logic balances bandwidth between a plurality of individual I/O controllers in order to better utilize the overall system I/O bandwidth. In one embodiment, the I/O configuration managed by the flexible I/O logic is determined during system-build, while in another embodiment, the I/O configuration is set during system initialization.

This invention provides a display control apparatus capable of more quickly displaying the next image while suppressing a decrease in viewability. The apparatus displays an image together with an added non-image area when displaying, in a display area of a display unit to be used to display an image, the image having an aspect ratio different from that of the display area. Upon accepting a scroll operation of instructing scroll display of the image displayed in the display area, the apparatus performs the scroll display in accordance with the scroll operation. At this time, the apparatus adjusts the non-image area to decrease the width of the non-image area in the moving direction of the scroll during execution of the scroll display as the operation amount of the accepted scroll operation increases.

A display device using infrared sensor modules that is capable of reducing power consumption and extending durability of infrared light sources and sensors and a method of driving the same are disclosed. The display device includes a display panel to display images, a plurality of infrared sensor modules to optically detect a touched position on the display panel, an infrared sensor module controller to sequentially drive the infrared sensor modules and to switch the infrared sensor modules to a low-power mode when a touch operation has not been performed within a predetermined period of time or when the display panel is in a power-saving mode, and a system to provide a state of the display panel to the infrared sensor module controller.
