A flexible input/output controller logic interfaces with existing input/output controllers (IOC's) in order to configure the amount of data sent to and received from the IOC's. The flexible I/O interface receives data from a component at a rate determined by the particular component. The flexible I/O interface then feeds the received data to a traditional I/O controller at a rate suitable for the I/O controller. Thus, the interface to the individual I/O controllers is maintained. The flexible I/O logic balances bandwidth between a plurality of individual I/O controllers in order to better utilize the overall system I/O bandwidth. In one embodiment, the I/O configuration managed by the flexible I/O logic is determined during system-build, while in another embodiment, the I/O configuration is set during system initialization.

Methods and devices for selectively presenting a user interface on a second screen. More particularly, the method includes a change in the display mode of a multiple screen device from a first screen to a second screen while the device is closed. The change in the display mode may be made in response to a request from an application. The application may be executed and have the user interface window associated with the application moved to a second screen. The change to the second screen can be requested based on input into the application or automatically generated based on the type of application. A host apparatus configured to be wirelessly connected to a display apparatus comprising a touch screen includes a graphic processor configured to generate image data that is to be displayed on the display apparatus, a hardware-encoder configured to encode the generated image data, a communication interface unit configured to transmit the encoded data to the display apparatus by using a wireless communication method that uses a preset band and to receive control information corresponding to a control command inputted through the touch screen of the display apparatus, and a controller configured to control the graphic processor to generate the image data corresponding to the control information. 1. A host apparatus configured to be wirelessly connected to a display apparatus comprising a touch screen , the host apparatus comprising:a graphic processor configured to generate image data that is to be displayed on the display apparatus;a hardware-encoder configured to encode the generated image data;a communication interface unit configured to transmit the encoded data to the display apparatus by using a wireless communication method that uses a preset band and to receive control information corresponding to a control command inputted through the touch screen of the display apparatus; anda controller configured to control the graphic processor to generate the image data according to the control information.2. The host apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the hardware-encoder autonomously encodes the image data generated by the graphic processor claim 1 , without control of the controller.3. The host apparatus of claim 1 , wherein:the graphic processor outputs the image data and voice data corresponding to the image data as real-time streaming data; andthe hardware-encoder encodes the real-time streaming data.4. In an implementation, a list of users associated collaboratively with a shared document are ordered in a user interface based at least partly on their respective collaboration states with respect to the document. As their collaboration states changes, updates are received from a collaboration service and the list of users is re-ordered to reflect their updated collaboration states. 1. An apparatus comprising:one or more computer readable storage media;program instructions stored on the one or more computer readable storage media for presenting a user interface to a collaboration service that, when executed by a processing system, direct the processing system to at least:in the user interface, order a list of users associated collaboratively with a shared document based at least in part on collaboration states associated with users with respect to the shared document;receive updates from the collaboration service indicative of updated collaboration states associated with the users with respect to the shared document; andresponsive to the updates, re-order the list in the user interface based at least in part on the updated collaboration states.2. The apparatus of wherein the program instructions further direct the processing system to merge a base list of the users associated with the shared document with a another list of editing users presently editing the shared document to produce the list of users associated collaboratively with the shared document.3.
