The method of generating a graphical resume allows a user to produce either a conventional textual resume or a resume in a graphical format. A database is established and a plurality of templates are stored in the database. The templates include an informational template, a textual resume template and a plurality of graphical resume templates. Each of the templates includes at least one fillable resume field. The informational template is displayed to the user and bibliographic data entered by the user is stored in the database. A plurality of resume formats are then displayed. The plurality of resume formats correspond to the textual and the graphical resume templates. Upon selection of one of the resume formats, the at least one fillable resume field of the corresponding one of the textual and the graphical resume templates is filled with the bibliographic data stored in the database to produce a resume.

Various embodiments of a trading screen allow a market value indicator to go out of view without necessarily triggering a command to reposition a value axis. The value axis may be repositioned to bring the market value indicator back in view when the market value indicator satisfies a threshold condition. The threshold condition is defined such that it is possible for the market value indicator to go out of view and not trigger a command to reposition the value axis. Various embodiments automatically reposition the value axis in a way that can provide the user with more overall control of the trading screen than previous trading screens. Further, the user may gain increased confidence in using the trading display, particularly with respect to single action order entry, because there is less risk of the value changing on the display during order entry. These advantages and others will be evident to a person of ordinary skill in the art of the embodiments described herein.

Techniques for performing a process during a real time collaboration by multiple users or clients on a spreadsheet file are disclosed herein which may permit calculations to be performed locally by at least one of the clients. By doing so, increases in performance are realized since only data updates need to be provided to the host machine. As such, a determination is preferably made whether calculations performed locally can result in different data. If conflicting data is a possibility, then the calculations for the spreadsheet file will usually be performed remotely by a host machine. If not, then each client capable of doing so will perform the calculations locally and then provide only the updated data to the host machine. The determination of whether to perform the calculations locally or not may also be made dynamically, such as when one or more new formulas are added to the spreadsheet file.
