In one example, the invention includes steps of: activating feeding and exiting motors of a dispensing device that cause corresponding rollers to rotate in forward direction, wherein the feeding motor is operatively connected to a displacement optical sensor, wherein the feeding and exiting rollers move a dispensing object; wherein an exit sensor generates a first signal, indicating that a leading edge of the dispensing object has activated the exit sensor, generating, by the stationary displacement optical sensor, a second signal, when, by passing at least one light beam over a surface of the portion of the dispensing object, the stationary displacement optical sensor determines that the portion of the dispensing object has traveled a pre-determined distance along the dispensing passage.

Ticketing systems and methods incorporating interactive seating charts

Ticketing systems and methods, as well as related computer product programs, provide efficient and user-friendly seat selection by incorporating realistic seating charts. An advantageous ticketing system may include data related to a physical layout of a venue. The ticketing system may generate a three-dimensional model of the venue, from which one or more seating charts may in turn be generated. A user may search the ticketing system for seats based on customized user search parameters, which may include searching across multiple performances. In response to the user search, the ticketing system may provide an interactive three-dimensional seating chart depicting a relatively accurate seat layout based on the venue data. The user may manipulate the seating chart to view the venue from various perspectives, and the user may select seats from the seating chart. Other embodiments of the ticketing system are also disclosed herein.

The inner sleeve is constructed having channeled top and bottom wall surfaces substantially saw-tooth in their configuration and further formed having a sloped profile at its open front end conforming with the sloped front end of the outer box. The sloped front end of the outer box is formed in two divergent planes established by separate top and bottom panels positioned on either side of the opening so that the outermost coupon sheet is delivered at the opening with its leading flap extending therefrom in a position of easy retrieval for the consumer. The coupon dispenser device may be mounted upon a store shelf or other like surface using conventional means.

Methods and apparatus are provided for stacking paper tickets, receipts, vouchers and the like that exit a transaction-based printer. A stacking nip is provided which accepts a first ticket from a ticket cutter. The first ticket is fed into the stacking nip, and then advanced by the stacking nip for a fixed distance until a trailing edge of the first ticket is positioned before the stacking nip. A second ticket is then fed towards the stacking nip. The first ticket is held in the stacking nip with the trailing edge positioned before the stacking nip until a leading edge of the second ticket overlaps the trailing edge of the first ticket. The trailing edge of the first ticket and the leading edge of the second ticket are then simultaneously advanced through the stacking nip.
