An advantageous ticketing system may include data related to a physical layout of a venue. The ticketing system may generate a three-dimensional model of the venue, from which one or more seating charts may in turn be generated. A user may search the ticketing system for seats based on customized user search parameters, which may include searching across multiple performances. In response to the user search, the ticketing system may provide an interactive three-dimensional seating chart depicting a relatively accurate seat layout based on the venue data. The user may manipulate the seating chart to view the venue from various perspectives, and the user may select seats from the seating chart. Other embodiments of the ticketing system are also disclosed herein.

A stacking nip is provided which accepts a first ticket from a ticket cutter. The first ticket is fed into the stacking nip, and then advanced by the stacking nip for a fixed distance until a trailing edge of the first ticket is positioned before the stacking nip. A second ticket is then fed towards the stacking nip. The first ticket is held in the stacking nip with the trailing edge positioned before the stacking nip until a leading edge of the second ticket overlaps the trailing edge of the first ticket. The trailing edge of the first ticket and the leading edge of the second ticket are then simultaneously advanced through the stacking nip. The apparatus also includes two sets of rollers and a ticket guide plate between the rollers. When the tickets exit the slot, they move through the rollers where they are sensed photoelectrically. If the tickets are stuck together as they move through the rollers, they are dumped into a double ticket stacking container. If only a single ticket moves through the rollers, it is dumped into a ticket delivery chute.

Feeding webs. - In apparatus for the sale of stamps, tickets, &c., a reciprocating arm 5 disposed on one side of a grooved table 1 feeds the strip x along the table by means of teeth 6 engaging the perforations between the stamps, while a second arm 10 disposed on the other side of the table is provided with a cutting- member 12, which, when the feed - arm has reached the end of the table, co - operates with the teeth to sever the foremost stamp along the line of perforations. The arms 5, 10 are controlled by springs 7, 13 respectively, and are pivoted on a spindle 5b mounted in a carriage 11 which is reciprocated along a base 20 by any suitable means. Projections 8 on the arm 5 co-operate with fixed cam pieces 9 so as to bring the teeth into and out of engagement with the strip at the required times, the projections being lifted on to the upper surfaces of the cams during the return movement by the engagement of the spring 7 with a projection 5<c> on the arm. A pivoted spring 4 slotted for the passage of the teeth 6 serves to hold the strip during the return movement of the feeding arm, but is lifted during the forward movement by the engagement of a projection 17 on the arm with the tail 20 of the spring. The severing arm 10 is operated by spring-controlled levers 14, the arms 15 of which co-operate with rollers 16 mounted in the side plates. When the strip is exhausted, a roller 21, which normally bears on the strip drops into a recess 23 in the table, thereby withdrawing a rod 24 and releasing a lever 25 which actuates mechanism (not shown) for closing the coin slot.
