The device includes an inclinometer, a camera for imaging at least one celestial object and a processor programmed with a celestial catalog providing known positions at specific times of at least one celestial object and algorithms for automatically calculating target direction information based on the inclination of the system as measured by the inclinometer and the known positions of the celestial object as provided by the celestial catalog and as imaged by the camera. Similar to the training technique discussed in the background section, the pretend enemy wears a GPS detector and transmitter, and a computer system is preferably provided which determines when a trigger-pull results in a “casualty”. Preferred embodiments also include an inertial navigation sensor including a magnetic compass and a memory-based optical navigation system that permits continued operation on cloudy days and even in certain in-door environments.

A processor and memory are positioned in the interior area. A motion sensor is in communication with the processor and positioned to detect rotation of the sphere. A speaker is in communication with the processor and configured to emit sound data stored in the memory. Programming causes the processor to actuate the speaker to emit sound data when the motion sensor detects the sphere is moving. The container defines a weight that causes the sphere to always rest in a predictable position.

[Technical Problem] It was difficult to replicate the wide-ranging brightness magnitude of tiny stars through the starry sky reproduction apparatus to replicate the whole sky with details as deeply as the observation through astronomical telescopes. [Solution to Problem] According to the present invention, the starry sky reproduction apparatus is a laminating sheet that is pasted up N layers (N≧2) of light reducing effect sheet. Under the condition that M and L is integer number, magnitude is N≧M>L≧1, and when the laminating sheet is stacked L layers, the L-Layer light transmittable through hole will be formed. Light beam can go over the sheet passing through the hole. Additionally, M-Layer light transmittable through hole is formed under the condition that the laminating sheet is stacked M layers, and the hole is located in the different position of the L-Layer light transmittable through hole, then the L layer-transit beam, which passes through the L-Layer light transmittable through hole, and the M layer-transit beam, which passes through the M-Layer light transmittable through hole, can be observed as 2 different transmitted light with different brightness magnitude. A spherical body map having one hemisphere centered on any given point of the body and another hemisphere centered on its antipodal point is provided in the Azimuthal Equidistant Hemispheric projection. Both hemispheres are placed side by side so to show a great circle line passing through the center and antipodal points straight. ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An orrery for displaying planetary representations is provided. The orrery has a frame and a plurality of concentric hollow tubes rotatably mounted on the frame. First and second ends of each of the tubes extend axially beyond first and second ends respectively of the outwardly adjacent tube. A plurality of supports are provided each for connecting at an inner end thereof to the first end of one of the tubes so as to extend radially outward from it. Each of a plurality of bayonnet plug and socket means removably connect the inner end of one of the support means to the first end of one of the tubes. Planetary body representations are each connected to a position on one of the supports remote from the tube to which that support is connected. A drive mechanism connected to a second end of each of the tubes rotates each of the tubes.
